That's the one I put up the other day for 1700 I think.
Only now for an extra 1300 you get the luxury of clearing the rubbish out of his yard.

Someone commented on his pricing actually. I would be up for a challenge once the costs were reasonable, but this is dreamland stuff

Sure an investment like that, you'd make 3 to 4 times back what you paid for it!

If you can do the work yourself maybe.

There's a few Honda 50's and other stuff buried down the back of my place.
There's also a fiat 127 that was rolled one night :pac:

I need to get the shovel out and unearth the Aladdin's cave I'm sitting on.:pac:

    I think I bought a bandit 1200.... LOL

Deal tentatively done, subject to inspection on a 2001 gsf1200s. It will be a rolling resto project, and I will see how I get on with it. Always wanted a bandit 12. Apart form a good service and good clean, it is standard enough, and was used regularly enough up until last lockdown. Plan is to get it, service it, make sure it is running right, then do some of the cosmetic stuff and see how it goes. Maybe get a jet kit, filter and new exhaust system, change the rear shock - it's bound to be well past it's best now, but apart from that, keep it standard. I do some moto marshalling for local bike races, so i may add a few extra flashy lights etc, for that also.

I'll throw up a project thread on here once i get it. Hoping to collect it on Saturday. Anyone any ideas on a DIY bike ramp - will a scaffolding plank work?

    Actually I'm getting suspicious now.
My brother had one of those cd175's.
I think your man selling those has dug up the back of my place.
If a yellow 127 like below but with the roof flattened turns up in his ads, I'll go spare!! :pac:

There's a ditch at the back of mine, it's behind that is where we all used to hide the evidence :pac:

I took the NSR out for a good proper drive over the weekend. Feels so good to be on a small light bike again. I haven't been on anything massive but so far I like my bikes like my cars small and light.

    Derestrict it next! ;)

I use a scaffold plank with my van for all bike transportation. Never a problem

I crashed one of the bike quote sites by seeing what a learner with no NCB and only just passed the IBT would be charged for a R1200GS.

My friend in CN said anything dual sport just raises the price unfortunately.
Must be something about not needing a road half the time and then regretting that decision due to weight and wrong tyres xD

Oh in fairness to the chap ion the phone he said they might be able to do something at renewal time.

I was just teasing myself anyway. I’m a LONG way off changing bikes

Back in the day, I actually sold an XJ 750 in beautiful condition so that I could buy a Fiat 127 rust bucket and pay for the insurance, which cost more than the car. :o:eek::mad:

I’m not here long enough to know what D3VIL time is.
