Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Soft day here too, both over head and under the feet.

If the seat's wet, sit on yer hat, a cool head is better than a wet ar5e.

Unreal wind here from 5am. Woke the child up and she's terrified since. I'll be very surprised if there is no damage done around the place

Had a fence and some trees blown down, tiles off the roof too. I was awake from four til seven or that. Since we took down one hedge for GLAS my window gets an atrocious battering.

It was the worst I saw here in a long time. Just windy now

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,181 ✭✭✭Lady Haywire

Fecking Doris. Took most of the fence right off! And part of the iron roof.

Slurry going out here, bit a rain last night but otherwise short showers of a minute r 2 today. Gusty more than windy. Feel for anyone who has damage due to the storm but nice to miss the brunt of it for once

    Thunder lightning hail and wind.

    Was some lightening wasn't it?

Entire bedroom lit up for what seemed like longer than it should have, then o oh a second or two after, desperately loud thunder, then the power went for a while...
Been a long time since was woken up lightening...
    Thankfully, didn't wake the kids...

Pelting snow here. With the forecast I got yesterday looks like things won't get any better over the coming week with a lot of rain promised

Could hear rumbling from around 2.30 Was checking NW storm radar for the lightning strikes. Showed 3 in a line from Clon north through Coppeen. One wicked flash at 3.00 with thunder right down on top of it.
