Clap of thunder while I was feeding half an hour ago, heavy rain too.

If the seat's wet, sit on yer hat, a cool head is better than a wet ar5e.

Very strong winds here in the south east. Been like that all night.

I had a yellow top jfc bin blown 100 yards across a field from Deirdre.
Who knows where it will be this morning?

    Never moved this time.

I'm not sure how it moved before?
The wind must have blown it up on its side and then it must have started rolling like a wheel.
The lid never budged and was still fastened to it after. It landed back on its base and all.

    8 to 10 degrees.

You can look up the soil temp on Met.ie by clicking on yesterday's weather.

Mountain ash buds swelling here too, an early spring would suit me.

Just to be aware folks, light misty rain cannot be predicted by current tecnology. Neither Met.ie or yr.no had rain predicted in the last 24 hours. Heavy enough mist here at the moment and enough fell during the night too.
Did the cattle with a pour-on yesterday based on the forecast too, so not so happy.

Patsy, would you keep many cattle out over the winter?
