Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Not much in the way of punting recently but i give RED POPPY an ew chance in the 6.oc Newcastle.

    There has been money for one i was involved with (Seas of Elzaam) in the 7 oc and while i would like to see him win i think he needs to drop a few pounds to be competitive.

    A small bet on SUSI'S CONNOISSEUR 5.50 Chelm ew might pay off 18/1,he has a mind of his own but running well at the moment,should be held up and if the pace is strong he could be involved at the finish

    "SENIORS"handicap hurdles for 8 year olds and upwards do not feature on many cards in the UK but when they do punters should take notice.

    Backing 8 year olds blindly in these contests has been very profitable with 8 winners from 45 runners to date.

    The 12.40 at Newbury on saturday is a Seniors handicap and just 3 of the runners are 8 year olds,EQUUS MILLAR,HAUL AWAY and CHAMPAGNE CITY are the three and i think Champaigne City is very much out of form so i will discard that one.

    In this race last year there were four 8 year olds in the race and they finished 1st, 2nd and 4th at 25/1 9/4 and 40/1 and the other 8 year old was brought down.
    Equus Millar and Haul Away are 8/1 and 12/1 and i will be looking carefully at those two.
