Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    The possibilities are seemingly endless.

Henceforth I shall address you as Doni.

If you change the first letter you'll have my family pet name that is stopped answering to when I was 10 ( I regret that now) My cousins in England still call me by it. When I started school it took me ages to realise the name they were calling out for me during roll call was my name!

Oooh I think I worked out your name. If I'm right, it's one of my favourite names!!

Possibly. It has a far more common diminutive and if anyone dares call me it they are immediately put on my kill list.

Well, I'm just scratching my head here!?
I missed Bruce but he's on Graham tomorrow night so I'll watch him then.
I saw him in Kilkenny about 8 years ago, by far the best concert I've ever been at. His energy is amazing.

Yup. Especially when you very politely inform them you don't like that version of your name and to please stop calling you it and they carry on. I find it over familiar.

I have that annoying song "Hello, this is Joni, I'm driving but I'm not home" in my head now! I think I still need to change the first letter though.

It's like the Irish Times Crosaire crossword here tonight, or a game of guess who. :D

I'll have a different consonant please, Carol.

I didn't even know I knew that song and now it's earworming me.

Were you ever threatened with the guillotine?

Sorry about the ear worm, it's an incredibly irritating song.

I'm neither Marie nor Antoinette. I'm sure plenty of folk have wanted my head in a basket though. It's really not obvious. The nickname came from me mispronouncing my own name when I was learning to talk, so I'm told. Now I fancy cake, but I don't have any. I do have pie and some gala you chocolate. Decisions, decisions

It's the repeating riff that earworms. It's better than the previous earworm though.

I've decided on Galaxy and bed with fluffy blanky and Netflix.

Felt stressed and overwhelmed earlier, took to bed and woke up a few hours later feeling much better and hungry.

Chilled in my default horizontal position on the couch now, looking forward to tuning into DJ Funkybeak on Mixcloud a little later. His mix of 70s disco, 80s pop, and 90s dance is divine!

Honest question, what is this thread about?

It's about, wine, chocolate, dogs, cats, a plate sliding mod and a few car keys thrown in...you can also mention where you are as you post, usually its bedside, deskside or couchside, you're welcome. 😛

That could mean so many things. A fancy coffee? A joint? A big line of coke? Rebel Wilson?

    Morning everyone :)

Laptop-side with a coffee, just about to get stuck into pretending to be creative ;)

Good luck trying to figure me out. I haven't managed that myself yet!

This, or in simple terms - a general chat thread.

At home with a fat white.

That could mean so many things. A fancy coffee? A joint? A big line of coke? Rebel Wilson?

I presume a flat white coffee.

But still, phrasing is everything here.

A curious typo, it should have been mop. :D

That was another unfortunate typo, I obviously meant superior.

You're the one and only, like Chesney Hawkes, except BB.
