Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

What temperature and how long? Thanks!

Usually 30 minutes on 170 and then 20-30 on 185, since I’ve upgraded to the xxl it might be quicker

    Only see it now...

    Like 5x Green and 1xOrange???

Pretty accidental as they could clearly add parsnip and white potatoes to the mix and carrots to even things out.

That would give them 2 of each colour with great display option.

They are not that smart I think. Just usual colour themed flowers and discounted beers is all you get for the day/week ;)

Ginger and limes I doubt you can stock it for long anyway. To use the whole pack would take a lot of cooking. Meh imo.

Very average offer. They seem to alternate between good/great and not so good/lame super6 these days. Nothing wrong with it, but makes me go do weekly shopping elsewhere sometimes.

Grate ginger and freeze in small portions eg ice cube tray to throw into stir fries
Slice and freeze limes to put in gin, doubles up to chill the drink
Chop and freeze chilli in small portions for cooking

You could, but not at that discount :)

It's 10 or 20 cents cheaper. Not worth it at all.

I don’t go to do my weekly shop in ALDI because of the super 6 fruit and veg, it’s the whole shop that makes the cost of food cheaper

The meat Super 6 has been all a bit meh lately, it just seems to revolve around the same 10 or 12 products. Also I've noticed products that used to show up on it before never (or very rarely) do anymore. Things like rib eye steaks for €3 and 1kg Loin of pork for €5 seem to be off the Super 6 entirely.

Agreed. 3 chicken breasts one week and 2 chicken breasts two weeks later. All at similar price per kilo anyway.

In my local ALDI (D3) I don't think the cherries came in.
Replaced by 6 Royal Gala red apples for 79c.

Just came back from Tesco on the way from work and they only had 200g punnets of some UK cherries for 2.49 or 2.99.

No sign of picota, had a look around empty boxes and couldn't see any 1euro cherries offer... Maybe not available in all stores...

They are on the website which normally means nationwide, they are in both my local express and superstore anyway.

    https://www.tesco.ie/groceries/Product/Details/?id=292275734
I have noticed that they don't stock them right beside the more expensive ones (I think we can guess why :) )

I didn't realise cherries were on offer, but they were in their usual spot - beside strawberries and other berries - marked down to 79c (in Aldi on Santry Lane).
