Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Just wondering if you are confusing me with someone else.

No harm in giving a little beep after you pass/meet. :)

Maybe not every morning :) I just seem to see a boards kit every few mornings between Skerries and Lusk.

WA this morning on the R132 between Airside and the Coachman's roundabout at 8:40 in the new kit. Wave given and reciprocated.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 25,009 ✭✭✭✭Wishbone Ash

Crosstown in the pink kit as above.

.....and a very brief glimpse of an original jersey in Santry/Whitehall around 8.55am - presumably Alek.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,520 ✭✭✭Alek

Right time and place, but plain clothes today.

There's a few more than WA up this neck of the woods.

Driving down Pinnock Hill a few minutes ago, someone in a light blue jersey and black Boards.ie tights???

Black with Green Logo Shorts outside the Merrion Centre this morning - 8:40ish

Koutubia this morning getting a close pass at the Courtlough Applegreen. The wide open road behind me (coming the opposite way) was just not close enough for that person who had to squeeze past.

RobFowl trying to fix a puncture a short bit back up the road too.

Pink/green jersey (with red shorts I think?) on the Sutton cycle track outbound around 1pm today.

Apologies for not giving a shout - I was in a bit of a day dream and the penny only dropped after you passed by.

Original kit, Harold's Cross bridge, 8:25am, westbound. Gave a shout, sorry if I scared you!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,863 ✭✭✭✭crosstownk

Boardsie spotted today around 1245 in the Moody Rooster café in Blessington. I gave you a brief hello but I was too wet and cold to engage any further!

I gave a shout out to a Boardsie on Westmoreland Street/ O'Connell Bridge today at 1.10pm. He was wearing black gear.
    I was walking.
I'm on my annual visit to Dublin

Well spotted! I heard your shout very clearly but when I looked around I just saw a mass of people so couldn't identify from whom exactly it came from.

Saw (99% most probably) WA just coming out of Lusk towards Skerries around 2.15 this afternoon after the final roundabout. First time I've actually been on a bike when I've spotted you.

(Was wondering who gave the beep.)

It might be simpler to change the thread title to "WA Sightings"tongue.png

Its probably easier to pick out who hasn't spotted WA (don't even need to use his full title)

I had to google lamb Doyle’s to see where it was. That was most likely me. Gave you a wave but I wasn’t fit to shout! Nice to meet you. I rarely get spotted.

It was a bit dodgy with frost up there in places.

A (very) bearded Boardsie rocking the newer jersey (jacket maybe?) yesterday around 12.20 heading up the Sutton side of Howth Hill at the graveyard. Was descending at the time (in the car!) so didn't get a shout out.

Boards-attired rollingscone spotted on Alfie Byrne Road (with Colm18 in tow) at an ungodly hour this morning heading towards Howth.

I see Colm18 was faster on the Howth Hill TT segment - does that mean rs had to buy breakfast.......??!! ;)
