    Would it not be a better idea to sell the cigarettes to prisoners for €10 a pack and use the money for the upkeep of the prisons? Pure waste destroying them.

    I know they are doing their job but I really dislike the border customs officers. Find them very aggressive.

    He is taking the bag off the plane and both were in the cargo hold. Only risk is with the stun gun.

    dunno how they let him on TV, would have been suited more to some undercover investigation program "customs officers gone bad". Astonishing how he behaved and seemed oblivious to what he was doing and the offence he was causing, like he had some mental disorder.

    You would think the higher ranking customs officials involved in making the program would have hidden him away, presuming he was an oddball who was there for years and not easily sacked. Maybe they did have it in for him and so put him on as a laugh and to get one back on him. His family must be appalled & sickened, as he genuinely does seem oblivious.

    Was thinking the exact same thing, he is an utter moron. Yer man says he has no english to him and he's still saying "buddy" and "narky". I know several people living here 10+ years with excellent English and I would never use terms like that with them.

    How the fcuk is he that thick, and how is some colleague or supervisor not pulling him up on it. It's embarrassing.

    I'd love to see him travelling to some strict country and getting lagged.
