    Russell Wilson, last 5 games: 110-148 (74.3%) 1,420 yds (9.6 Y/A) 19 TDs 0 INT 143.6 rating 147 rush yds (7.7 YPC)

Best month in NFL history for a QB

    Also, pulled from Reddit:

-Russell Wilson is the 1st QB in NFL history with 3+ pass TDs & 0 INTs in 5 consecutive games

-Russell Wilson joins Tom Brady, Peyton Manning, Dan Marino, Aaron Rodgers and Steve Young as only QBs with 3+ TD passes in 5 straight games.

-Russell Wilson just became the 2nd fastest QB in NFL history to 100 TD passes. Second to Marino.

-Russell Wilson, with his win over the Browns, now has the record for most wins by a QB in first 4 seasons with 45. He took the record today from Joe Flacco, who had 44.

I don't particularly like the man, but damn.

He also has a rushing TD so 20 in 5 games i think.

Did not think he had this level in him.... adds another dimension to the NFC picture.

Any feint hopes we had for a Justin Blackmon comeback are gone with his latest DUI.

Ruined what could have been a fantastic career.

Context as they say is everything. Three of those teams season is already over, they've given up on the season and they are amongst the worst defenses in the league. There's no better way for any QB to inflate their stat sheet, than having to face such teams in consecutive weeks.

He's still only the 6th QB to ever do it. Its an insane feat, tbh.

Clearly not the sharpest tool in the box.

For me, him playing three teams who already gave on the season doesn't make it quiet so insane.

Who did the other 6 play?

Since I questioned the calibre of opponent that Wilson played, I actually made the effort to go and find out. So if you want to know the calibre of opponent that Manning, Rodgers, Brady and Young might have played. Perhaps you should take a leaf out of my book and go and find out for yourself.

I didn't question it. Nor do i care enough too look. Just pointing out that you belittle what Wilson has done without backing it up by comparing the other 5 qbs opposition and the stage of their seasons.

I don't like his personality and find him quite fake, but I've been saying as someone who doesn't get to watch much college football that Wilson seemed the better of the two QBs between him and Luck since their first season, only Luck has got the hype train on his side up to this season (and arguably a higher ceiling as a player, but that's irrelevant until/unless he reaches it). Switch Luck and Wilson's teams and careers, season for season, game for game (including playoffs) and play for play in terms of their actual stat sheet and it is scary to think how the media would treat it (in terms of pushing that Luck hype train even further). Wilson is a phenomenal player.

I think you might need to narrow your parameters for the definition of 'belittling'. Because there was nothing belittling about simply pointing out - that Wilson played 3 very soft teams in those last five games.

Three teams whose season is already over and I was stating a very clear reality of their 2015 season.

And I already backed up my point by referring to the three soft teams he played.

You can't be arsed finding out who the other QB's played and fair enough. But please say you didn't questioning something when you actually did.

You seem to have misread my post. I was reffering to you saying that wilson's achievements didn't stack up, in your opinion, because of the opposition. Yes you gave the names of 3 teams wilson faced but my post was referring to the fact that was all you did. You made the comparison but never compared. I couldn't care less who he played or any of the others played, simply pointed out your attempt to belittle a record was a little onesided.

I'm sorry i see the problem now. You obviously needed for me to break your post up line by line and write an answer to each one, in order to comprahend it.

What teams did the others play at what stage of the season and what were there records?

Wilson's achievement over the last few weeks have been impressive but more impressive that that is the fact that he looks set to lead the Seahawks into another deep playoff run. If they win out and finish with the five seed they will play Washington/Philly win that they are only two games from a Super Bowl. Serious accomplishments for both Wilson, Carroll and the Seahawks in general. Getting to three Superbowl's in a row would be an incredible achievement.

I have been deeply impressed with Wilson this season. I always loved the way he uses his legs to get himself out of pressure. And his OL has put him under a lot of pressure; less recently, but more than most other QB's. But this year, his recovery passes seem to go into better spots. He is throwing at an elite level at the moment.

Also, Wilson is without Lynch, Graham, and now also Rawls. This is with one of the worst OLs in the league, and far from a stellar WRs corp.

Baldwin has been immense in recent games, and Lockett has stepped up a lot, to be fair, though.

Injured since week 1, and still putting up pro bowl numbers.

Glad he'll go out on a relative high. 1st ballot HOF, without a doubt.

So has Kearse, but there is no doubt that in recent weeks they have been playing against Terrible defences. 49ers, Ravens, Browns and Steelers are all terrible and the Vikings had an off day against them but are definitely the best of a bad bunch.

But they have been putting up numbers all year. Wilson defo up there as one of the success' of the year though.

Maybe Aaron Rodgers is wrong and God does care about football.

I didn't compare and I had no intention of comparing Wilson to anybody. I merely stated that he recently played three teams, who've stopped playing because their season is long over. So I'm taking his recent stats with a very, very large pinch of salt. And tbh, I wouldn't even attempt to compare Wilson to Rodgers, Brady or Manning. Because for me, he is nowhere near their level and I have every confidence in predicting he never will be.

As nauseating as I find Wilson the man, I certainly wouldn't be confident in saying he can't reach elite QB level, such as Rodgers, Brees, Brady, etc. Its very much early days.

These playoffs will be telling, considering how bad that OL is, and now that they have to lean on Fred Jackson (first time to the playoffs for him!) for a running game.

If I had to choose Wilson or Cam, I'd be taking Wilson every time, without a second doubt, tbh.
