Ah we're grand really, that was a few years back, it's taken some work on the hills and wet land here. A good part of it needed re-doing after it got frozen up a few years back too.
Told dad if he get's a quad he'll need to cut back on the fries. That might just curtain him for now

My father told me the best cure for bad driving was to pay for the repairs yourself.

Six weeks ago Dad was full on for getting a new tractor (have a '93 Zetor since late '94 and it's seen way better days)
I happened to be on about getting a mulcher next year to do a bit of tidy up in heavily rushed land that's had hedges cleared this year. Today he announced that he is going to get a quad and a mulcher!
And they say women change their minds quickly! :D

Like the mulched myself, but are allot of money & can't find anyone to ask on how they got on with them.
You'll enjoy the quad, especially for licking, also it'd want to be driven regularly & not left in the shed until the next job like the one here

I've no issue driving quads, well used of them before this on other farms. Dad might be a liability on one though. Must find somebody with a mulcher now to ask them about it, serious need for one in this area!!
Here's part of the tractor :D:D

How is the 5211 with the bales?

No problem at all, plus ours are always chopped so 10-15% heavier. Have to reverse up the hill with them if they're anyway wet though. But the hill is quite steep.

    That field wouldn't need mulching.
I'd wonder could it cope with this

I could relate to the 64yr old.

Live and let live. As someone said there's no point getting up in a heap about stuff that you've no control over and isn't going to change. You just have to change the way you look or deal with it.

At least the lads down the pub aren't out blowing the heads off lads for no reason. Let's not provoke them enough to find out if they could !!

I think Muckit you've just solved the Middle East's problems.
Export Guinness and Paddy Power to the Middle East and maybe it might quieten down / content them a bit.
    I'm joking of course.
