Are you in the land down under? ;) Bud. Good choice.

Depends on what browser you use. The image is upside down but has an EXIF flag to tell the renderer to flip it. If the browser doesn't support this flag, then the image appears upside down. For some stupid reason on the iPhone, if you align the phone with the camera button on top, this is actually upside down to the camera sensor. So I always put my phone with the camera button facing down to avoid that!

From my experience, Safari on iOS can read the EXIF orientation flag but Firefox on Windows does not.

That's interesting and amazing you figured that out I'll take photos upside down from now on, thanks!

For anyone like me yet to pull the trigger Argos are selling the amiibo version of Mario maker for €64.99 at the minute and you can order it.

I just got me a reservation code.

Now this means a two things.

    1. My first amiibo.

    2. Based on any YouTube vids I've watched I'm in for a serious amount of frustration.

Looking forward to both. Roll on Friday when I collect it.

It's awesome you won't regret the purchase, I've put in 70 hours since I got it and I'm nowhere near bored of it.

Im absolutely loving what I've watched on YouTube so far so I can see how you're 70hours in.

Hopefully I can make the time to play it.

So many games coming out in the coming months it's just silly at this point.

Part of me is happy starfox has been delayed.

If you check out the sticky Mario maker thread I've posted some YouTube videos of me completing boardsies levels. Might give you an idea of the standards we've set for you:-)

That American chap who now has the top spot on the star rankings had some very good non auto levels worth playing.

I think his name is sporky

Splatoon didn't last very long as my most played Wii U game. Just overtaken by Super Mario Maker.

I'm afraid to look at how many hours I've put in. I reckon it will over take Fire Emblem by Christmas as my most played game.

I clocked in over a hundred hours with FE but I reckon I have at least 30-40 all ready with Mario Maker.
Which is a heck of a lot for me. I usually get to around 10-20 hours per game before I lose interest.

Yeah it keep you coming back alright, I kind of wish it didn't as I've other games I need to get playing!

So I got the Mario Maker amiibo bundle box today in Argos.

I must say the art book is a nice touch.

Tempted to leave the amiibo in its box as the box is nearly as pretty as the amiibo itself which I'll probably never end up using anyway.

Really looking forward to playing some of your levels later.

Deadly! I look forward to your creations also. The best way, I find anyway, is to search an I.d from a level initially and then click the love heart to follow that person in the game then you can play all of there levels with out searching the code every time.

    Cool cheers.

Just poured my first drink of the evening.

    A system update downloading.

    Mario maker coming soon.

As for me making levels, I'm sure I will but not at the beginning.

I more interested in playing some other people's levels tbh.

Yeah that's what we all said! Although I've only created 5 or 6 levels it is actually enjoyable! P.s I'm on my 4th beer at this stage you lightweight;-) have fun anyway.
P.s if you looking for a challenge check out Sligeachs levels on here. They are by far the hardest and most annoying yet brilliant levels I've come across.

    Play history

Courses played: 219(thought it was more)
    Times played: 2325
    Lives lost: 2148

Interesting, and probably explains the carpel tunnel thing I've got going on in my right thumb.

    I'm at:

    Courses Played: 1044

Ok I'm either really bad at this or I've been playing very tough courses:-)

I'm onto 102 hours played. It's the first time I've crossed 100 hours in a game since Pokemon Black.

Expert Mode is horrendous. It's not expert, a lot of them are troll levels. I've 69 skins unlocked. I don't know how many more I'll get now. There's a lot of terrible skins. I've at least 12 Animal Crossing skins and things like Mahjong Tile, Dr. Lobe and Foreman Spike.

Came across one of Donal's levels on Expert Mode in 100 Mario Challenge. It took a few lives off me before I got there. What are the odds?

    I hope you starred it!
Was playing my levels last night with my brother and sister and I actually couldn't pass that in one go.

Actually, I was playing expert mode for the first time too last night and also had an Irish level pop up which was a first.
Maybe it's not as random as we think.
