Going to go with Kolorav in for PVA, Silva in for Hazard, Barkley in for Henderson and Aguero in for Kane. How have to decide whether to use my wildcard for to take the 12 point hit.

EDIT: Just saw Everton's next few matches. Maybe Barkely isn't such a good idea, but the points rise is tempting at the same time.

    Think about Barkley.

Look at Eve next 8 games.

    Think about Barkley some more.

    Repeat ;)

Did that just before you posted. Need to find 0.5m somewhere though.

I'm thinking of doing Bellerin to Kompany, Cazorla to Mahrez and Kane to Aguero for a -8? That would leave me with the following:

    Mignolet Schwarzer
    Kompany Ward PVA Janmaat Gomez
    Hazard Fabregas Henderson Dyer Mahrez
    Aguero Pelle Berahino

That or I use my wildcard and make numerous other changes.

No point in doing Bellerin to Kompany at all. Playing Everton at home is equally as bad as Liverpool at home in terms of goals conceded. Bellerin could be handy against Liverpool anyways - for some reason the back of my mind tells me that he did very well against Liverpool last season. Anyways, you're never going to retrieve the -4 unless Kompany goes crazy on the corners again.

Definitely do the other two changes. I think you're squad is strong enough now to resist the WC. I would be tempted to do a -4 for Sanchez instead of hazard though, if I were you.

I wouldn't. If you were thinking of a wildcard, last night was a bit of a better time to do it for one thing. For another thing the spine of your team is decent.

IMO you need to think about moving on Fab, Depay, Rooney, Walcot.

This is how I started out my post to you. But as I started typing the list of guys you needed to look at I thought maybe a bigger surgery is required.

You luckily have not missed the Aguero boat.

Is your williams defender Ashley for swansea ?

Your keeper and defence look safe for now, but if you're going to WC I'd overhaul my keeper. (The DeGea situation is very tough to call and not worth the anxiety if you can WC)

A WC could be a good move for you.
Ashley Williams is my defender I like my defence, could hang on to Rooney as he could be a differential but he was so bad against Villa that Aguero is now a must have.

What's the thoughts on dumping Hazard and Rooney and bringing in Yaya and Aguero? For a -4.

    I've gone for it.

Bellerin scored against Liverpool last year

Not definite but very likely. Came off early on for their new signing against Leicester.

He was bad...Really very bad against Leicester.. Also, his GCSE results are out on Thursday so he'll be sure to be beering Thursday night. He won't be starting this weekend.

He needs to be red flagged.

Thanks. I'm thinking more and more that I have to bite the bullet. I always planned on getting Aguero in and had money set aside for that but I've also had to make 2 changes to my midfield. I chose not to wildcard last night but might regret that later.

Coates was supposed to be my nailed on 4.5 option but after Sunderlands last 2 games I'm very doubtful. If he wasn't going down I'd be happy to stick for another 1-2 but...

Richards is in a poorish defence and Sherwood is not renowned for keeping clean sheets.

Whittaker for Norwich is looking good also. Ward for Crystal Palace is usually decent for BPS as One Cold Hand suggested also.

Still, taking a further hit just for a 4.5 defender :( ouch.

We have a good idea after two matches which teams are clicking and who is in form. Any late transfers will need a week or two to get comfortable with their new team. By then you will have two new FTs available. If you are uncomfortable with your team use your WC and avoid losing 8 points or more. Plus prices seem to be increasing this week for some of your targeted players.

Aguero to Rooney, because he likes playing against newcastle :P

Benteke to Igahlo and Mane to Sanchez done for -4. Just hope Kolarov doesn't go up so I can get him in for Cedric next week.

Kolarov is certain to go up 0.1 this week. He has an outside chance of 0.2 although kompany's transfers in should stop a 0.2 rise this week

Walcott to Chadli done. I've gone with Chadli ahead of the more popular Ayew and Payet.

Still have a 2nd FT and plenty of guys on my team making a compelling case that I use it on them - Rooney, Hazard, Ivanovic, Stekelenburg, Mané, Coates, Ritchie, Sakho.

As a Southampton fan I never rated Shaw's end product going forward.

He had 2 assists in 2 seasons, one was he earned a penalty (possible defender hand ball), can't recall the second but don't think it was a clear cut cross or pass for some reason.
I was happy enough when he was sold as Targett was highly rated at the time and could have slotted in right away, and then Bertrand arrived, gladly have either and £30 million over Shaw.

If you have 5.6 and not stuck for funds I'd go for Darmian.

    Cheers shineon23.

Have £1.5m in the bank with Coates about to drop and Darmian about to rise. So the margin could be well reduced if not tomorrow, certainly later in the week.
With United playing tomorrow night and myself already on a -4 I'd prefer waiting though.

The whole plan was to avoid using the WC that early (transfer window still open, international breaks to come, Christmas period this year will be hits-friendly without the Jan WC) and rather take a few "calculated" hits now to build my team value in getting in popular mid to long-term players using my good start as an opportunity for a mini-WC.

Haven't seen much of Spurs and Stoke so maybe someone can give advice.

How has Chadli looked he is such a goal threat but wasn't first choice last season which i can't understand. Is he looking likely to keep his place? I am thinking of bringing him in instead of Mane but something tells me Mane is well capable of banging in a good few goals.

Also what type of player is Shaqiri will he provide good service for Diouf or is he more of a goalscorer.

Also just an observation that Bournemouth left back looked very good going forward last night.

Looks like no Rooney for Newcastle with the rise for Aguero, a real pity as I think UTD will stick 2/3 past them.

Need to make a budget decision regarded Mahrez or Albrighton, really could do with the extra cash for a forward.

I need an opinion, I have used my WC so I'm doing some tweaking til deadline. I currently have Cedric for 5.0 & contemplating moving to Richards for 4.5 (think he will rise shortly).

    Upcoming fixtures

    Cedric
    WAT (A) 2
    NOR (H) 3
    WBA (A) 1

    Compared to
    Richards
    Cry (a)
    SUN (H)
    LEI (a)

Cedric looks better on paper but I am unsure?

Both look good and have decent fixtures. I'd say you're safe with either. Also check out Redmond for Norwich. Ritchie looked v good for Bournemouth last night and he'll probably drop to 5.8 before Saturday.

For my money those are the best Cheap Midfield enablers at the moment

I have both as both sides have decent runs. I had to take a -8 hit to sort my team this week (saving WC). If it was one or the other I'd probably go Richards.

Cedric is fairly agressive and if he doesn't tidy up his defending (he's better moving forward) I can see Koeman rotating him.

Thanks for your opinion, I might change Richards and at least I will benefit if he rises and I bank the 0.5 difference. My other defenders are Azpi, Shaw, Kolarov & Gomez.

I'd go with Darmian. He is likely to play pretty much every game. Great attacking threat, looks very dangerous bombing forward and his defending is top notch.
Shaw is playing very well at the moment but he is at a much higher risk of being rotated with Rojo coming back to full fitness, he can play left back. Blind can too and I can see him slotting in there at some stage. Plus remember Shaw is only 20.

No problem, you have some solid guys in there, you have plenty of options.

Apologies for the double post (I posted this in the WC Thread) but I'd be interested in hearing views from the non-WCers also and figured ye might not venture into the other thread.

Would appreciate some advice lads. I had planned on doing a 'mini WC' this week by taking a -4 or -8. Already taken a -4 and now have:
    Mignolet/Ruddy
    Martesacker/Darmian/Huth/Mings/Targett
    Ozil/Mane/Payet/Henderson/Mahrez
    Aguero/Rooney/Deeney

    0.8m ITB

The problem is that prices are moving so quickly I will lose money on Mings and Mane and possibly on Rooney and Henderson. Added to that is Silva (who I want long term) is rising to 10.1m.

There is no way I can get Silva in without taking a -12 so am thinking about just hitting the WC and doing my 'mini WC' after GW4 or 8, when I planned to WC anyway.

By saving 2 FT I could make 4 changes for a -8 at that time.

Good idea? Bad idea? Worst idea ever? All opinions appreciated!
