Broke his heart trying to sort it though

That's what I remember was it something to do with the turbo?

Have just found an auto accord only up as few hours going to look at that first

Rack leaking or pump leaking. They're the likely ones, if it was a hose it'd be a more catastrophic loss of fluid!

Have never actually seen it leak - just the levels dropping.

Last time I checked the mileage - it was doing 400 miles from been top up to max (cold) to minimum (cold).

Steering works fine when levels topped up.

His was an S60, didn't end up being pricey to fix what was wrong anyway as far as I remember.

Still broke my heart though with the symptoms and diagnosing it.

Seen a lovely blue 135i in Abbeyleix this evening coming home from work.
Great looking machine, say it's a hoot to drive!

Wasn't a 235i was it? Am yet to see a newer 1 series with that engine.

The 2-Series is absolutely fantastic to drive. The 220d though is actually the pick of the range but the noise and acceleration of the M235i is quite something...

Chap in the local town here has a 220d - looks nice tbh.

My intercooler arrived today will get fitted Tuesday now another job done! Won't really see it behind the standard grill tho but don't think I'm bothered to change it!

The fact that this warthog exists ruins any thought of a 2 series for me!!!

I got the ST FAbs one that A+K are doing. It will do me fine for the power I'm looking for! Satin black with red logo on it! :)

Some cars, 306bhp in a car that size is immense. I love the stubbiness of the 1er coupe in m sport especially.

My commute means I have to drive a diesel but one of these is my next car as soon as I get a transfer closer to home. I will get the transfer, just a matter of waiting! Then a 118d badge will be stuck on the rear end for the lols!

YouTube a video of one of these with a performance exhaust, they sound unreal. Kicks the e46 m3 and the 335i's arse in reviews too.

135i coupes are immense but impractically small

I just wanted to make it clear - that when I meant the 220d looked nice - THAT monstrosity was not what I had in mind :D

They can be very good value for money, go for ones with about 60% thread, go for a premium brand and you cant go wrong.

Make sure you keep two tyres of the same brand/type on each axel.

How much would you say a set of decent partworn 14-15 inch tyres would cost fitted and balanced?

I've been looking on Oponeo, could get a set of 4 Goodyear Efficientgrips for €196 delivered (Or a set of Minerva 190's for €160) Would cost €30-€40 to have them fitted though.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,855 ✭✭✭nd

For 14 or 15 prob. 25-30 each. The local one here is 35 for 16s. Balanced and with new valves (mostly Continental brand tires).

The "New v Old" pic, is that sarcastic or is there actually supposed to be a difference?

If you can get the 4 Goodyears for that price they're worth it. Excellent all rounders.
