6 or 7 is definitely not a worst case scenario if you don't play Kane!

The problem with not playing Kane is that almost everyone in the top 10K will. If he blanks you do well but if he gets a big score you are screwed. Kane is a must have in a starting 11 purely to safeguard as everyone else has him too.

It's far too risky to not play him

On the other hand, you can make up big ground. I'll be playing Kane but I don't fancy a double digit haul from him

Yes, it's a risk. If one is chasing a lead, then it's worth a chance. If one is consolidating a lead then Kane should be played.

    I'm chasing unfortunately.

I know 6 / 7 is not worst Harry could do. That statement is based on a presumption that he won't run amok. Spurs had something to play for when he got those big scores.

Yeah I can't see them going nuts myself either but Kane is still in the hunt for golden boot should be enough to at least keep him motivated. When chasing you need to do something different to make it up no Kane is definitely going to give you a differential!

Any thoughts on this wild card team?I like it and gives me a few players for the next dgw.I am ahead by 60 points in my paid league and ahead by 8 points in my head 2 head league.

I think this team is solid and decent for following weeks, anyone any changes or should I just press the transfer button.

Who to bench - Kane (a - SOU) or Silva (H - Villa, 75% fit)?

I'm the same. Edging towards benching Silva at the minute as I have Aguero.

Same problem here, currently have Kane benched. Pellegrini is pretty straight up in his press conferences so hopefully there's definite Silva news on Friday

Completely understand the logic. PVA instead of O'Shea perhaps and be sure you want 2 Arsenal defenders for the double (as opposed to two attackers and a defender).

Kane can hurt you a lot more than Silva can

I suppose you plan on benching Kane this week? Considering you're 60 pts clear I guess it's a risk you can take hoping for a climb in the overall rankings (if results go your way ;)).

As FutureGuy said I'm not sure 2 Arsenal defenders is the best way to go for GW37 especially with Cazorla as your attacking one. How much money you have left with this team?
Southampton play Villa at home during GW37 so one of their def/GK could be an option. Despite their injuries/suspensions/rotations at the back they've consistently kept CS this season, particularly at home (actually I just checked and 11 of their 15 CS were at home, didn't think the home/away diff was that big and will reassess playing my Saints def week in week out).

Considering I'm unlikely to play him again this season, would this be the perfect week to transfer Dawson out for -4 to a Leicester defender? It's really really close in my league so I don't want to be taking more hits than I need. Keep in mind that that -4 would almost certainly become a -8 as I brought Nugent in last week and I'm not keen on keeping him if he's a doubt for the Burnley game.

be madness to drop silva over kane. spurs may have nothing to play for but kane will want to finish top scorer. city going thru the motions. should I bring in fab for silva or eriksen?

I think I'll sell Silva for Sterling.

I did that for Ramsey with a view to his dgw

It's the perfect week to make this transfer.

Now, regarding your tight league, the million £ question you need to ask yourself is what are you gonna do or should I say who are you gonna play if you don't go for it (and I mean every single week until the last one). That should tell you if the -4 is worth it or not ;).

Thanks for that, I've worked out the rest of the season and the Leicester defender would likely play 4 of the 5 weeks, otherwise I'd have 2 tricky weeks at the back. Now the question is which to go with :P I know Schlupp is the popular choice here but my gut is telling me to go the extra .2 and get Huth. If Leicester are going to get anything against Chelsea you'd assume they'll need to be very good defensively, especially if Remy or Costa are back, which might give Huth the edge bonus points wise.

Right Sterling for Silva or Sanchez or not at all?

Arsenals's fixtures good after chelsea, silva at home to a distracted villa, liverpool playing poorly but with a dgw against poor opposition.....feels like a decision that could go badly wrong whichever way i go :pac:

I'm thinking the same only Henderson for Sanchez or Silva. I would like to be able to bring Sanchez back in at some stage so leaning more towards Silva out.

City are not going through the motions, they will fight for everygame to gain points and raise themselfs out of 4th,maybe some players heart are not in it anymore but the likes of Aguero and Silva will be pushing for the win!

Bring in Fab for Erkisen easy swap in my eyes.

City were playing a team (West Ham) that looked like they were going through the motions. It's hard enough to play a team like that when you're 2-0 up early on.

I got rid of Silva but I'm very fearful

Krul and Jagielka -> Mignolet and Terry

    OR

Jagielka and Mata -> Skrtel and Fabregas?

Already have Ivanovic, Sterling and Hazard

    Transfers made:

Skrtel & Sterling in for Dawson & Eriksen.

Leaves me with 5 DGWs. I'm not even sure how confident I am in Liverpool but felt I had no choice. Went with Skrtel over Moreno due to the fact that Moreno has been poison and may not play due to performance.

Henderson signing a new contract should mean a minimum of a hattrick in each game, I hope.

Seems 99% of people will have Hazard,Chelsea def,Liverpool def with Hendo as default dgw players.

It seems that picking the correct Leicester or Hull dgw player could be difference this dgw.

    The Henderbus is coming,
    And everyone is jumping,
    Newcastle to the Classico,
    An intercity Isco,
The wheels of Silva are turning,
    And traffic lights are Burnley,
So if you like to party,
Get on and move your Bony.

Our Captain has a very important announcement to make:
    All aboard the Henderbus.

Have Hazard, Terry and Sterling for the DGW. I am not sure to go for Henderson or Fabregas. Gerrard back means Henderson wont be on penos and possibly frees. Fabregas plays a lot higher up field and always good for the assist.

Aside from the DGW chelseas next fixture is Palace at home while Pool have QPR.

I think Sterling will have higher ownership than Hendo. There are still differentials such as Leicester def (even double ups), Chelsea def double up v Fabregas, which two out of Hendo/Sterling/Coutinho, Leicester strikers
