That would be the flywheel then, before all the engine component rob the HP for themselves.

That's the same as BHP isn't it?

No the fly wheel is the specs the car manufacturers give for every car. Real world figures are lower.

Oh yeah, I know that. I just mean that BHP is also the measurement minus all systems like the gearbox etc.

Does anyone know what the main dealers use on car hinges at the doors / boot when they service cars, it's white. Is it silicon spray or white grease. I want to get some handy to have and once you put a bit on every service it prevents squeaks etc not that my door squeak anyway.

Lithium grease I think is used on hinges I think.

Further to my last on this - just collected the Honda HDS from the folks place - setup in an Oracle VirtualBox running XP

Software is very granular. You can drill into any module - example I was able to do a 5 second test on the washer jets

    344861.JPG

Only bugbear being the US plug which is easily solved

Anyone with a Honda up to 2012 its worth the purchase

I think that is white grease. I figured that is what I should use just need to get some now. I was in swapping the fuel filter and the dealer has all the different quantum lubricant sprays cheap but they weren't sure what the service dept use on the doors and they were closed today. Oh Ye I also got the right fuel filter this time won't ever make that mistake again.

It must be great to have it out on the road after all this time. I didn't even realise it was ready for the road. You don't see to many 900's in daily use now. How is the experience so far ?

I'm only using while i wait for the 9-5 to get sorted, it needs tyres and to be tracked, and the experience is terrifying :pac: although you get used to it after a while, sobanek called it "very raw" which sums it up nicely! got it to 100kph on the m7 today so at least it can go!

Another Fiat in the family, my Dad picked up a Stilo the other day. Has the 1.2 petrol. I took it out for a spin and it wasn't too bad honestly. Comfy enough and rev happy like my Panda.

Yep. 6 speed manual. My Panda has the newer version of that engine and a 5 speed.

Was only giving a sporting an italian tune during the week. Some yolk to go for a 1.2 and grippy enough. You can't help but notice the rattles though. The phrase 'Badly screwed together' as one poster would say did enter my head while stuck behind some slow movers.

What is the point of that clear diff cover. You would hardly be under your car looking at it and then there is also the structurally strong the plastic is.
