My sister just changed her profile to two pictures of herself from a recent night out that she edited beside each other. TWO pictures of herself for her profile... is this the new thing?

Sorry but it's true. She always calls herself since she got "prego" a excitad mudda to be and her hubbie a proud fadder. Ive no idea why

She also set up a FB page for their bedroom and checks in every night with statuses like " feeling pure cozee in my nice warm bed @indaroom"

I'd delete her but the statuses are too funny

She's definitely the first person I've heard of to have such pages. Has she many likes on these things?

If you can't spell or Google the event, you probably shouldn't be watching it. Great Werstlemaina, incidentally... ;-)

I wonder if there's an Australian, English, Canadian, or US faceebook user who posts stuff like "Go home you Irish c*nts, your prime minister says there's lots of work in your country"

Surely stuff like that ignorant gobsh*te's post should be reported, not just to facebook but to the authorities.
And Monkstown, I know you're only quoting an eejit, this criticism is certainly not aimed at you.

"---When I was traveling about to parts unknown, one thing that was a constant for me was being able to find a Newyorktimes on a newsstand somewhere within the Airport or city. It was the thing that made me feel like home was not too distant when the stress or the melancholy would set in. Now, that I am settled into a home with my family, I'm actually excited it will be on my doorstep every Sunday. For the same reason I use to seek it out in Dublin, Istanbul, and Kingston, I can now feel a part of the larger world from my small front porch in my small Ohio town (and the digital archive access is the bee knees)! Don't let Newspapers die- our society needs them-- think about ordering your favorite paper for delivery, you don't have to live in a place to want to be educated like it's residents."

All those years ago, when Mark Zuckerberg and his friends were in creating what would eventually become the behemoth that is Facebook, I bet they were thinking the goal, the end game, were posts like this.

Someone should probably tell them about the internet, where you can get most newspapers free or very cheaply.

You fool, you damned fool! The only bit of that story you're meant to respond to is 'when I was travelling'. You are supposed to ask where they went and instantly regret it.

    :D

I just want to clear the air I'll apologise to nobody! if I'm wrong we'll of corse I'll put my hand up! If I'm right you can swing for your apology! but someone seems to think that I've apologised for all the years that they ****ed up and seem to think I'm week cause in my experience kindness is the sign of weekness and it's be taking for granted a lot of times! What I don't like is people who shout down the phone to u and wen ur face to face they back down! I could ent give a **** about anyone but my family they will always come first no matter what blood before water and I stand by it and always will but to make one thing certain it's those scumbags out there today that think there it no life no nothing going for them and they try bring me down a robbed jihadi airline couldent nock me down you won't neither don't ever let the kindness fool u ur still a enemy and I'll never have respect for you no matter what so don't try be my friend after all the hardship u cause me the best advice I can give you (and u no who you's are) don't let the kindness fool u! Big enough to mouth on the phone but I can't see you wen u stand in front of me ha ha ha thanks for listening

If I knew him, I wouldn't want to be his friend anyway.

Is it just me or is it slightly wrong that I am beginning to read these posts no problem now. I fear I am becoming one of them ***shudder**
