There should be a decent enough snow shower within the hour i'd imagine.

Here is a link to radar if anyone is interested. Updates every 20 minutes.

No snow yet - just rain. I live in hope that when I wake up in the morning it will be beautifully white like this morning. Good night all and thanks Kermit.de.frog.

Uppers are marginal in cork right now which is causing sleet to fall and even rain.
This should come right again through the night.

In the meantime a heavy blob of something is imminent

excited :D i'm staring out my window. i also think accu weather is busted, because its saying rain for the next 85 mins

Very annoying, the showers were passing to the south of me all day. Now the next one is intensifying as it comes ashore and passing to the north of me! Should hit Guam though.

My god the shower must have some wind behind it to be hitting Guam!

A nice heavy shower about an hour ago - clear sky now with a bright moon adding to the laying snow whiteness. Lovely about 2inches staying.

    South Sligo abt. 300ft asl.

Guam = laugh if you've been here all day.
Guam = puzzled if you've just arrived.

I think that could be it for most of Leinster. The last 2 days were great and very surprising, would have been better if this happened in January tho! About 10cm fell here overall since yesterday morning but the power of the March sun was just too much to keep the snow settled on the ground. However this was easily the best snow I've seen since 2010 and during Spring and all so can't complain!

Those in the west have a few more hours of snow watching, possibly the midlands as well. Tomorrow showers will fall mainly as rain, hail and maybe sleet. Then it's on to much milder conditons after that which I am looking forward to at this stage!.

Heavy snowfall here right now (Dungiven, Derry). At a rough estimate I'd say about two inches lying on the ground.

I can just see that small gap in the middle getting bigger and heading straight for dublin :(

I doubt we'll be blasted but looks promising for a dusting at least. Messy looking three blobber with the weakest one in the middle heading for Dublin.

EDIT: top blob winning over westmeath, middle and lower blobs losing out for now.
