About two cms of the white stuff here in Donegal, everythings white. It looks like snow but when I looked closer its more like Hail.

Light snow shower. Pavement white but that won't last long. A heavier snow shower would have left a blanket.

My better half was chatting to a neighbour last night, fella works for DAA,was telling her that this day next week (Tuesday) onwards has to be quite mild for a few days, the toward latter stages of March to turn very cold again, any of the expert's on back this up??

Very little reliability beyond 10 days, especially in such a mobile pattern. The DAA get their forecasts from the Met but they wouldnt have any corporate interest in looking beyond 3-5 days.

Latter March could average 4C or 14C just as easily.

Nothing in South Dublin by the sea. Only remains of the snow shower from yesterday evening

Had a decent covering of snow just north of Cork City this morning, but by the time I hit the city there just a very light dusting. Amazing the difference a few miles and a couple hundred feet makes.

Commute a lot more difficult this morning than yesterday up here in Donegal.
Roads seem a lot slippier under the wheels, perhaps frozen under the snow whereas yesterday morning they weren't?

Added to this, very heavy falls have started again.

Take care if driving around Donegal this morning.

I've just under an inch here west of Athenry, fields look less white to the west but definitely whiter to the east as you get further inland.
