Patrick didn't have the stroke long after Lucy died I think? Could be stress of killing someone (just a possibility)?

and it is a very good way to keep him under the radar. I dont think it was him, rather I think it was Denise but he was perhaps involved in covering for her. And he fears her as he knows what she is capable of? When Denise called Libby to say she was leaving Ian the night of the murder, she also went to bed that night and on viewing a photo of Ian and Lucy placed it on its face as she couldnt look at it.

on the other hand, perhaps Denise is ngry that patrick has implicated her into HIS crime, hence the domestic voilence and him covering up his bruises so as to keep her onside.

On January 1st wasn't there a part where people were checking their phones just before Emma met someone at the park. Couldn't we look at the video and see who had a black phone, the phone Lauren tried to get into?

I thought that phone Lauren had was Emma's. Am I wrong?

Could've been, I didn't know that if it was. IDK where she'd get her phone though.

I remember when Emma solved it she looked at Max's house and Denise's house. Maybe the number was Denise's home phone as it wouldn't make much sense if it was Max's as she has his mobile.

Why would Lauren automatically recognise Denise/Patrick's phone number though?

    It was Emma's phone.

If they pull it of the be a brilliant outcome with amazing acting there are people still waiting to crap on in in the media and online.

The fallout from the public could be more entertaining than the actual reveal of the killer.

The number on the note is a land line. Could still be the Beale's.

It seems Stacey has become secret keeper of Eastenders, with the amount of people who keep confiding in her, and people say the Carter Family is over exposed.

yeah, she is becoming a bit of an agony aunt. I thought it was nice with Shabnam but was there any need for her to be Laurens confidant also. Not unrealistic considering their history but i hope she doesnt become one of these go to characters, like a Susan in Neighbours type

I like Stacey, and Lacey Turner playing her, but I think she is overacting in her stint this time which is putting me off a bit. Sorry just had to get that off my chest :D

Does anyone like the Lauren Branning character? I just feel we're meant to care about her and while I acknowledge there are many reasons for her personality I think her pretty face has a lot to do with things? I also don't rate Jac Jossa's acting at all.

I know Lauren didn't have time to look at the test but I hope she wiped it before shoving it in Stacey's hand.

And, yes, the Carters are far too exposed! Enjoyed the last two episodes with minimal Carter

Roxy and Charlie was so predictable but those two have better chemistry with each other than with their partners. Saying that Roxy is making a habit of whatever my sister has I want. The invisible daughters dad was Jack, Ronnies last babies daddy. So glad Roxy isn't my sister ;-)

Stacey and Lauren will be main players for years to come if they stay on the Square but Lacey Turner has other acting jobs on the table and Jacq Jossa is going out with a reality tv muppet so she could end up broke etc
