Nick Cotton dies this Friday coming, so the aftermath of that reverberates into Live week.

    Kim gives birth LIVE

Ian and Jane DO get married. Adam confirmed it.

They showed a clip of Live week. It featured Jane crying outside the Vic with similar lighting to the last time we saw Lucy alive (electric). It then went through the Vic looking at all the suspects being jolly (no Ian though) and Dot was doing a voiceover, talking about murder. It was great and chilling. Think it's for one of Thursday's episode.

I assume this is copy/paste post from someone at Graham norton EE special show?!

oh right. can you put the source down then if it is something like that. i copped it on but others may not realise what you mean by "a video being showed". saves confusion!

Jane said to Alfie to go ahead with the stag as her and Cindy needed alone time last night..

Starting to think it was Cindy who killed Lucy now(with Jane covering it up).

    Ah come on big reveal!!!

I think it was Ian.... (or Jane, or Cindy, or a combination of them all?)

Lauren seemed off with Peter but not the way she was off with Max and Jake when she suspected them of being the killer. She was rolling her eyes at Ian when Alfie was making his speech and she could be questioning her relationship with Peter because she never would have suspected Ian was capable of such a thing so how does she know what Peter is capable of? I also think it's someone very close to Peter and Lauren is worried about the truth coming out and what it would mean for Peter.

Just my take on it though.

Of course Lauren being less than impressed with Ian's stag due may be down to it being Jane....

I'd put money on it being one of them. Leaning towards Ian though.

Hmm, Lauren acting very nervous around her fiancé after reading Emma's file... Super obvious though so probably a red herring.

She's nervous thinking about live shows next week!

this max stealing the arches story is beyond ridiculous! you wouldnt see it in a cartoon! one thing bringing the soap down at the moment.

She's not in them so I doubt she's bothered.

my prediction, dot buys nick the heroin that kills him (overdose) and she blames herself and tries to hand herself in to the police. apparently it is a low key emotional death with just the two of them and they have a proper chat.

Yeah Ian sounding more plausible, I remember when he came back after his breakdown Lucy was horrible to him because she felt he'd abandoned her. Maybe he felt she was in self destruct mode and would use that as an excuse for trying to protect his family. This storyline is just hurting my brain now. I shouldn't be spending so much time wondering about a soap plot. Is there a helpline for people like me?

sorry if it turns out to be Ian, the whole story is a joke if you ask me. He has been the most innocent and genuinely shocked and distraught character. Ian never comes across as someone who could hold a secret so incredibly large, hence his breakdown after finding out about Heather. He also has a strong alibi. He may have been involved in some capacity, as i am sure all the suspects are complicated into the events of the night but they couldn't destroy his character by making him a murderer of his child, accident or not.

I'm trying to remember everyone's reactions when they found out about Lucy. Was Jane even there? I can't remember.

I'd say the number on Emma's paper was the Beale home number, that's why Lauren recognised it but isn't actually 100% sure who it was. It would also explain Emma having their mobile number as she was their family liaison officer and would have all of their contact details.

Ian would still be shocked and distraught if he accidentally killed her. They may have had a row and she got hurt but didn't die, he went off to sleep with Tanya's sister thinking Lucy was fine, just in a sulk, wasn't overly concerned when she didn't come home, then got a genuine shock when the police showed up to say she was dead. He couldn't do anything at the funeral either, he needed to be pushed at the appeal too. Sure you could chalk that down to grief but it could also be guilt.

OF COURSE THAT WOULD BE POSSIBLE. BUT UNLESS IAN'S PERSONALITY HAS COMPLETELY CHANGED OVER THE LAST 10 MONTHS THERE IS NO WAY HE WOULD HAVE BEHAVED IN SUCH A MANNER KNOWING HE KILLED HIS DAUGHTER. aLL HIS EMOTIONS, ALL HIS FINGER POINTING, HIS SUSPICIONS ETC OVER THE LAST YEAR, IT JUST WOULDNT ADD UP THAT HE KNEW HE WAS THE GUILTY PARTY.

WHATEVER ABOUT BEING A SKIRMY G1T, THE GUY HAS A CONSCIENCE AND ISNT GOOD WITH SECRETS SO FOR HIM TO BE ABLE TO WALK AROUND WITH THAT WEIGHT ON HIS SHOULDER WOULD BE AKIN TO TODD GRIMSHAW'S PERSONALITY CHANGE SINCE RETURNING FROM LONDON.

APOLOGIES BTW FOR CAPS LOCK!!! GOT HALF WAY THROUGH THE MAIL AND REALISED IT WAS ON! I KNOW HOW ANNOYING IT IS!

Who did Ian point the finger at though? Peter attacked Billy when he thought it was him, he was also out with Lauren trying to track down the taxi driver. I don't remember Ian accusing anyone.... ? So much has happened over such a long time though I could be wrong.

    Cindy. You could be right.

But I just don't believe Jane would arrange the dumping of Lucy's body in the woods.

Good theory taken from digital spy
In the previews for next week, it says that Dean returns with a shocking revenge against the Carter family. Anyone think he will take the family hostage at the wedding reception, using the gun Shirley shot Phill with?. Maybe we'll get a live death, alongside the live birth and wedding.

considering he signed a 1 year contract, i doubt it. he will do something sinister and the way he glanced at that shovel in his last scene, perhaps he knows where the gun shirley shot phil with has been hidden by jay/ben but i doubt they would make him a murderer as well as a rapist. i reckon they are going to try (good luck to them) redeem his character over next few months.

but stan will die next week, no doubt about it.

I keep wondering will Dean somehow get roped in to killing Stan, then get shopped by one of the family? Would that be justice?

I remember when Emma solved it she looked at Max's house and Denise's house. Maybe the number was Denise's home phone as it wouldn't make much sense if it was Max's as she has his mobile.

Dean rushed into the pub when patrick fell to say something about only leaving Patrick for 5 minutes? this lit a bulb with Emma. So maybe it's this made her realise, something could or couldn't have been done in 5 minutes - or something could or couldn't have been done if it meant leaving Patrick on his own for a long time?
'Five minutes' is the time Max claims to have left the house for that night to walk the dog. I think it made Emma realise that a lot can happen in five minutes. You can pop out and come back to find something dreadful has happened in your absence. Dean finding a fallen Patrick, or Max finding his daughter standing over a dead Lucy.

justice is only served if you are convicted of the crime you actually committed. i think it would be very sinister of the carters to implicate dean into stans death if he is innocent. i think by justice it will mean being abandoned by his family and the community finding out his real crime.

i have thought this for a while. that is why denise has such control over patrick or vice versa. may explain denises alcoholism and that evil look she gave at the choir singing.

Patrick didn't have the stroke long after Lucy died I think? Could be stress of killing someone (just a possibility)?
