It's pricey though, luckily I had some cash built up. Still short of two or three plots but it was really needed, should have enough room to squeeze most buildings in now.

The update seems really good so far, I've just done my first tour through my neighbour's towns collecting carbon rods.

Anyone know if there's a way to get Homer off a mission without spending donuts? You can't store the Simpson house so not sure its possible. I accidentally put him on a day and a half mission a couple of minutes before I saw there was an update.

if it's the unusual torture quest just store the donut machine, if he's on a quest with someone, store them/their building

Cheers. It was the mission with Kang. Didn't think you could store a character on a mission thats not tied to a building but turns out you can.

What does updating the HQ get you? I upgraded to level 3 and it said extra event currency was one of the rewards but from where? I'm still getting the same amount when catching criminals or clearing the calls from my town.

I turned off push notifications in game, which stopped most of them, but occasionally Homer'll still shout "VISITORS! BETTER PUT SOME PANTS ON!" or the like. I'm just waiting for the day I forget to turn my phone on silent in a lecture or important meeting...

A couple years ago I had a Windows phone so could only play Tapped Out on my mother's phone. She rang me at 3 in the morning once because she couldn't get Homer to stop shouting at her and it was making the dog go mental :pac:
