    Well considering the registration BE11END has never been issued, it's a rather mute point as they weren't fitted to the vehicle on a public road, indeed if they were fitted on a private road there would be no issue, except for TG haters.

    Bit of a difference. Falklands war was conducted between two full time armies. IRA campaign was conducted by a bunch of violent criminals against unarmed women and children. I would happily like to see some idiot try to use those plates in UK,

    I'm sure you realise that I was was referring to PIRA. Though even using the term army in the same sentence as those cowardly scrum is a bit of a contradiction.

    one of which was taking back what was rightfully theirs which had been stolen over a hundred years ago, and the other re-capturing the stolen territory so they could keep it for strategic purposes (yes thats right its nothing to do with the people living there wanting to be british as they never will be) . as soon as the islands are no longer good for strategic purposes they will be given back to the argentines

    The british army have a long, long history of killing unarmed women and children in countries around the world that they're not welcome. Never mind Northern Ireland

    This sounds like a classic "two fingers to the Brits" situation without looking at the facts. The vast, vast majority of the Falklands population want to remain under British rule. I don't see why their wishes should be ignored for the sake of the Argentinians.

    Planted British people put on an island by Britain want to remain British.

    Whatever next ? - I hear Christmas was democratically banned by the votes of turkeys at the local turkey farm.

    The crowd at old trafford voted that the penalty against manchester united was illegal and the goal should be cancelled.

    When all else fails trying putting words into their mouth eh ?

    I do have one suggestion though - certain people should stop with the disingenuous tactic of saying that various pockets that Britain claims here and there in the world are somehow separate entities when it suits and not separate when it doesn't.
    If you're flying the flag, singing the anthem, using the currency, copying the culture, teaching the curriculum then the capital you got all that from should be answerable.

    Democracy is great when you get to draw the borders, as the historic gerrymandering in the north will prove.

    Theres boroughs of London where Im sure if you drew the right border would be "democratically" an Islamic republic tomorrow.

    Its all about who draws the border at the end of the day - and thats they guy with the biggest gun, and to an extent Im fine with that, but dont then give it the bleeding heart and tearful eye democracy is sacred treatment.

    It doesn't fit well with Britains past anyway.

    The footage and commentary seemed to suggest that the workers left by convoy, but the "stars" hid in the hotel.

    Saw a bit of the Vietnam special they made from a few years back. What did they do in that episode to stir up controversy? They bought a small motorbike painted from top to bottom with the stars and stripes.... and then they seriously tell viewers that the Porsche reg was all a terrible accident!

    Clakson ,Hammond,and may were escorted to buenos aires where a aircraft was charted to fly from a local airfield
