Aguero, Chambers and Fabregas out - Dzeko, Zabaleta and Hazard in.

I didn't have much time to do research this week, let's hope it works.

-8 but I can't afford to stay behind when Hazard scores double digits this week. Time to mae some moves. Sitting at 545 in overall ranking and the team looks in good shape for next 2-4 weeks. 2.8 in the bank that I don't even know how to spend. Aguero's injury spiced things up a bit.

The only transfer I wasn't so sure about was Fabregas but had to be done to get Hazard in.

Dzeko has proved before that he is a good replacement when Aguero is not fit. I hope he will do it again.

One thing I want is Yaya to stay well behind, not having him might bite me...

How confident are you that Zab will start v Leicester? I really want to bring him in, even though he'll surely sit out at least one of the next 5 games. But at -4 I'd hate it to be this week. And I fear it could be.

Wouldn't be one for wishing injury on players to suit my fantasy football ends, but if Bacary Sagna wanted to pick up a minor minor knock which would rule him out for about 3 weeks that'd be great.

    Not confident at all:D

Chambers had to go anyway, wanted City defender. That's all.
    It wasn't a -4 hit as Chambers won't play anyway. -2, +6 maybe:D

With City Christmas fixtures so nice we're most (all?) trying to guess which City def is the most secure to fit in to our team. Since Zab should be rotated at least once with Sagna, Clichy & Kolarov could play 50/50, Mangala & Demichelis get rotated too, Kompany's on 4 YC, isn't Hart the safest headaches-free (he was not rotated last year at Christmas) pick from their defence? And he's "only" £6m.

Granted he won't provide any attacking returns and doesn't make many saves but out of Lei (a), CP (H), WB (a), Bur (H) and Sun (H) we shall expect a few CS (at least 3) shalln't we? Now, does anyone remember why he missed out GW6?

knew mid-late week I'd end up going for it. added Chadli>Hazard for -8 and lined up with the following.

    Guzan

    Taylor, Ivanovic, Hutton.

Hazard (C), Downing, Sanchez (VC), Toure, Mirallas.

    Bony, Costa

    Sold!

forgot the bench: Given, Kane, Dummett, Moore. leaving a mere 0.2 in the bank.

I'm toying with the idea of dumping Sánchez...for Yaya. Is that crazy talk?

I can't seem to fit those two and Hazard in the same squad without compromise.

Similar dilemma here. I've got Hazard, Sanchez, Siggy, Eriksen & Ameobi in midfield. 4.9m itb. Can't afford to upgrade Ameobi to Yaya. Don't want to get rid of Haz, Sanchez or Siggy. So that leaves Eriksen. And I only got him in for Fabregas last week.

I've been singing Yaya's praises for a while, yet I can't really justify getting rid of any of the above for him just yet. If I'd held off on the Eriksen transfer last week, I'd have brought Yaya instead this week no doubt. I think I'll have to wait til the next gameweek now anyway as it would have to be for a -4 now as I have no free transfers left.

Have the exact same midfield and made the exact same move last week. I can get Yaya for Ameobi for an extra 4 pts hit though since I have £8.2m in bank after selling Aguero. Don't think I'll do it (though I'm getting tempted...). But he's on 4 YC and it would mess up my future Christmas plan (getting a City and/or Chelsea def/GK and later ADM if back fit and/or Sterling). Also if Silva's back to full fitness... for £2m less he could play in an advanced role and if fully fit after this week-end he could/should feature in all Christmas games.

You've put my mind at ease iroced. Til this weekend at least, when Yaya will inevitably bag a hat-trick, half a dozen assists and 3BP.:p:pac::(

It is an option for those who have their keepers injured. Not much of an option for me when I have 2 non-injured goalkeepers and 1 "top" defender suspended (Chambers).

Yeah I've been considering Hart too. If this gameweek goes off without a hitch, I think I'll bank my transfer next week and get Hart in the following week. I can't do it next week with my 1 free transfer as I have nothing in the bank so Foster will have to do for a few more GWs.

Re GW6 I think Hart was at fault for Diouf's winning goal when they lost to Stoke in August and Pellegrini was keen to give Caballero a chance in the league. Pellegrini had already given Caballero a start in their League Cup tie against Sheffield Wednesday and claimed at the start of the season City don't have a number 1 keeper. He also said that at some point Caballero would play two games in a row.

Yeah I'm scared of that too but at least shall he get a YC so I could think I was right in holding off :pac:...

Cheers for the info. I don't like that bold part though :pac:. When he played GW6 was that the 2 games in a row or shall I get worried for Christmas?

Yeah, he had played against Sheffield Wednesday a few days earlier in the League Cup.

Similar thinking here. But I'm agonising over it a bit. Could play Dummet away to Arsenal a probably pick up 2 points. Hopefully Pellegrini at his press conference will say something along the lines of "its ok FHFC, Zab is playing"....

I have downing siggy, haz, Sanchez and Boyd. I plan to drop siggy for yaya after the weekend assuming yaya doesn't get booked. I got Siggy back in 3-4 weeks ago and he has done nothing since.

Aaron Ramsey hamstring injury is far worse than initially thought with the #AFC midfielder set for a spell on the sidelines

I brought Hart in this week for a -4.
My thinking is that yes, he is safest of all the city defence given that Kompany is still a doubt.
I sold the Injured Krul for him which makes sense and my back up keeper is Green, enough said.
My plan is to keep Hart until I rejig my team with the January wildcard. City have plenty of clean sheet potential between now and then.

I'm actually leaving Chadli on the bench as my first sub this week and starting Boyd instead. I'll probably be moving Chadli on next week barring any unforseen circumstances.

The thing about Yaya's four yellows is, most players will probably get a rest, or at least not start one game over Christmas. Yaya will get a one game rest when he gets his yellow and with the ACON coming up, Pellegrini won't feel the need to give him a game off again. In fact, it's even better than the coach not starting him for a game -- you know he won't come on for a one pointer.

Or at least this is what I tell myself after getting him this week.

I brought in Hart for the Christmas schedule after getting rid of Aguero because his fixtures couldn't be better and getting rid of Aguero has allowed me to splurge a bit on keepers.

He played 90 minutes in Turkey last night and was pretty shíte.

So I really doubt he's starting.

Torn between Carroll/Sakho and Ya Ya/Silva

Have Costa and prob going to bring in Dzeko

These injuries and suspensions have thrown a right spanner into the mix

Excellent team as you have downing maybe carroll to Austin and upgrade ameobi to a better cheap mid.

Anyone think that Wilson might play for Stoke this weekend? With Duff and Chambers out I could really do with him making an appearance.
