New info on the upcoming Assignments from the Final Stand dlc;

Disinformation:

Affect 10 enemies with M84 Flashbangs
Get 3 melee kills

Eye Spy:

Get 2 Spotting Ribbons
Get 20 DMR or Carbine kills

I can already see a lot of Hardcore mode players bitching how they'll never use disinformation and how final stand has nothing exclusive to offer them.

In the meantime they will use them due to the fact that it produces gunfire and that most of the players that rely on sound-only play Hardcore mode exclusively.

Kit: Recon and Support
Primary: (R) Scout Elite
(S) Saiga 12K (Shotguns are usable with all classes but this is for the support)
Attachments: (Recon)Any long range scope (Ranges from a 6X to 40X)
No accessories.
Most barrel attachments murder Sniper rifles so I'll leave them optional.
Auxiliary is players choice (Bipod, Straight pull bolt, Nothing)

(Support) Iron sights
No accessories or barrel attachments.
12G Buckshot with any underbarrel attachment.

Secondary: FN57 OR G18 - Any attachments
Grenade: M67 Frag
Gadgets: Recon
Option 1 - MAV and Claymore
Option 2 - PLD and Radio Beacon
Option 3 - C4 and SOFLAM

Support
Option 1 - Ammo box and XM25 Airburst
Option 2 - XM25 SMK and Claymore
Option 3 - C4 and M224 Mortar

Can change but not mix and match

Objectives: (The fun part)

I still don't understand a lot of the BF4 parlance. What does (To prevent people from spamming Operation Locker) mean? I've seen "spam" being used for DMRs and I've nayra clue what it means...

In this instance it means so you can't join one of those Locker only 24/7 servers.

Ah I see. But what does spam or spamming mean in bf4? I thought spam were those emails I get to make my knob bigger or some Nigerian prince wanting to make me a millionaire..

In gaming terms, specifically shooters, to spam something is to put a large volume of fire into an area with little aim etc.

Grand Bazaar& Seine Crossing definitely. Might be nice to finally experience the Armoured Kill Maps with 64 players. I really enjoyed the Aftermath dlc as well, loved it.

CTF was great in bf3 as well,think its just a mess in 4,would those maps be fit to hold 64?

Found CTF very hit or miss personally. It was great on Operation Riverside but Nebadan Flats or whatever it was called always descended into camp the only roof on the map and spam Javelins. Can confidently say that the only kills I got with the Javelin came on that map.
End Game and Armored Kill always looked great from the 64 man footage I seen. I'd love to get the chance to play them how they were intended. Maybe Aftermath would be a bit close quarter and turn into sheer mayhem. Armored Kill was such a diluted version on the old consoles that they may as well not bothered releasing it.

I'm just hoping these rumours and teasers about another dlc are true. Apparently there'll be something big after this latest Battlefest promotion.....

Just goes to show COD is bad for peoples health and how did ya boy manage a surprise attack then get his arse kicked in?

Just to compound my dilemma; I'm off work next week and the kids will be with their nanny Tuesday night. So the missus has decided we should go out since it's the only guaranteed night without the kiddies. No chance of me getting my planned GTA marathon

Does the FN57 actually fire bullets? Or some form of pixie-dust that simply causes the enemy to fall over dead from embarrassment??
