One thing I did notice, the footage from the jets (1.05-1.09) had the new brighter HUD colours. Could just be footage from the CTE build but hopefully it's patched in with the actually dlc.

Four fúckin hours to download Final Stand?? My Internet speed is usually unreal quick, what's the craic like? Anyone else having the same problem, presuming anyone is actually going near BF4 today?

Mine downloaded fine, no major delays anyway. Might get on for a bit later since GTA can't go online yet:)

I usually download the updates fairly quick but for some reason the actual DLC pack itself takes a while. Due to problems I've had issues in the past (which involved me having to delete the entire game + expansion packs and re-installing them TWICE) I wait a few days before downloading it.

Hopefully I won't have to download it for a few weeks though.

To be fair after a week or two I doubt I'll be putting much time into battlefield. GTA, Dragon age, Far Cry, too much choice and not enough money..

Yeah but to be fair - It's about time there was a good release of games. Personally I won't be buying anymore games for a while so I'm sorted on that front.

Other games like Assassin's Creed Unity haven't really drawn in me and all I did in FarCry 3 was collect flowers and play a really buggy multiplayer with the 10 year old's definition of stealth IE: Firing an RPG at an explosive barrel = Awesome Stealth Ninja

Doesn't notice that against all of my weapon loadouts were wiped so I spawned in with my trusty SG553 all over the place and with 2 repair tools!!! Less than effective

And I only got 67 battlepacks.........actually a little disappointed, thought I'd earned more:pac:

It turns out that the fancy, angled Final Stand dogtags are actually found on the maps themselves. They randomly spawn near flags on Conquest Large(sorry PS3:D) so keep an eye out. I'm gonna be searching the tundra as soon as the youngest has her nap.
I'll update this post if I find any of the dogtag locations.

Open challenges will still go ahead but since I don't plan on playing BF4 for a while I won't be taking part.

I can still make and post open challenges or if someone would like to have a shot at it go ahead. (Ribbons and kills for open challenges only)

I'm gonna back outta any challenge this week to be honest. I'm still seething with hatred regarding these stupid ****ing dogtags. So I'll either be looking around like a headless chicken, hoping the DICE Gods look kindly on me, or releasing some stress on GTA.

I reckon it's a complete piss take. I don't actually mind the slog of the whole Phantom Program, it made sense up till now:

• 200 kills with Assault Rifles
• 200 killls with the MBT
• 300m in headshots
• 200 kills with Pistols
• 20 kills in Jets
• 2 x Shotgun Ribbons
• 200 kills with LMGs
• 50 kills with explosives
• 25 Roadkills

On the face of it, I can see how it fits. It forces you to use(and be somewhat proficient) with different kits classes, weapons and vehicles. You're meant to be an elite soldier, comfortable in all situations against all enemies etc etc.
Forcing players to stumble across these dogtags just to power up 1/4 of the elavator in some ridiculous attempt at encouraging "teamwork" is nothing short of retarded though. I've got images of the Final Stand dlc with all the known spawn points for the tags,and there's at least 12 on each....so far. Even with the maps, I've probably spent close to 3 hours on just 2 of the maps and still got nothing.

To rub salt into the wounds, my SPM, KPM & K/D have all dropped but more alarmingly, my Skill Rating has plummeted from about 360 to 115:mad:. 55 minute rounds with a 0 score at the end ain't good for your stats.

Hi jack frags has a video about trying to get into the elevator with the next video then about accessing the phantom room but nothing about the dog tag hunt, does anyone have a video on that to see?

Final Stand is simply amazing, conquest and rush are as good as another and a reason why I stayed up till 3am playing, first time in a year maybe.

There's a few videos on YouTube, just search for Hanger 21 dogtag, Operation Whiteout dogtag etc. The tags themselves will randomly spawn in one of several locations across the map. I spend about 5 hours in total looking, around 3 and a half alone on Giants of Kerelia and managed to find 1 .

I was supposed to be going for grenade launcher kills but my knife lust got the better of me.
I never thought of saving the gameplay from my Defibrillator rampage on Giants of Kerelia the round previous. Managed 6 defib kills in a single round, was actually great fun

Yeah, damn that chopper and tank for stealing my knife kills . Just a shame I mis-counted the Defibrillator and swapped it out, could've got a fair few more defib kills alright.

Also, that part where I missed 2 guys huddled up, with all 3 Grenades.............I accidentally deleted the clip..........accidentally...........promise.........:pac::pac:
