I can already sense that getting up those towers are going to be issues for me.

I have no problem at least giving that a shot - I can barely use a sniper rifle so it might be a buff in an area that needs work.

Gonna try something new this time round for the Loadout Challenge, just to see how it pans out. I'm gonna put up the loadout itself but leave the Assignments open for anyone else to throw up a suggestion, I'll edit this post as needed.
As most of us have already completed many of the main Assignments, it's starting to get more difficult each week to come up with interesting loadouts etc. This is the 9th week of these challenges so in the future it may be slightly more thematic loadouts or something but without interferring with Chris' challenges as well. Anyway;

Loadout Challenge

Player: XtraFalcon

Kit: Assault/Engineer/Support
Primary: (A)M416 or AEK 971
(E)UMP-45 or PP-2000
(S)M60-E4 or PKP Pecheneg
Attachments: (A)iron sights and 40mm Grenade Launcher only
(E)iron sights and suppressor only
(S)iron sights only
Secondary: M1911; no attachments
Grenade: M67 Frag
Gadgets: Any

Objectives: Eagles Nest Assignment(keithc83), Re-Mastered Assignment(12 M60 kills, 10 AS Val kills, 25 GOL Magnum kills), Remote Operator(6 Mortar kills)

As some of our 'veterans' may notice, this week Chris has a Bad Company 2 themed loadout. No optics, lasers or grips. By pure coincidence, Keiths suggested Assignment works out perfectly, the GOL was extremely effective in Bad Company 2 and the 1 gun needed to complete this full loadout. The Re-Mastered assignment seemed to be appropriate while the Remote Operator lets you reminise with the mortar. Have fun, and remember; tap fire is king.

All I need to get now is the GOL and it's proving next to impossible with a 20x Scope and canted iron sights.

Targets are too close to use the 20x scope and the canted iron sights are just awkward on a sniper rifle - I'm gonna have to ditch the team and become a zone-sniper.

Also - Bipod or Straight pull bolt? (Allowed or disallowed)

Choice 1: Ammo box and Ballistic shield

You CAN change your choice but you CANNOT mix and match

Objective:150 Kills with primary (based on current count)
Duration: 5th Nov - 12th Nov

Additional: No secondary kill count this time round instead there's an extra 50 kills added to the Primary.

Hint: If there's a few of you trying to complete this together - It might be a good idea to choose different gadget choices

XtraFalcon to get the gol here's a few tips. The five kills you need to get from the tower don't all have to be sniper kills. I saw two lads at the bottom of the ladder and threw a c4 down. Double kill and one more sniper kill and the gol was mine. (I already got sniper kills from the tower before the c4)...

If you're using the 20x scope I'd definitely recommend Operation Firestorm and use the bipod. There's always snipers up in yonder hills..

And I doubt you'll need to be told this but you need the sniper ribbon. Seeing as it's the easiest one to get it can be easily overlooked..

In all seriousness though, I'm actually the 6th IRL member to hit Rank 130. In terms of 'time played', 'Skill', 'SPM' and K/D, I'm lagging behind several players as well. So credit where credits due. I just happen to be one of the more vocal.......sorry Cobra...... :pac:

You're talking ****e lol, i barely have premium 2 weeks and barely played on 2 days and i'm rank 106, premium means damn all really. There is a open double XP event thought in this battlefest, perhaps you can use more of your boosts alan :P

Done. And I think I've found my favourite gun. The LSAT is a fúckin animal. BF4 is the first battlefield I've played so all my LMG experience is from CoD and they're all shyte in that.. I have a feeling your next challenge is gonna be a total fúcker...

The LSAT was really good in Battlefield 3 - unfortunately it was the victim of a patch shortly after I began using it and it removed the edge the weapon had so other LMGs like the PKP became more desirable so when it was added into BF4 it was a little untrustworthy. (It's average for an LMG in Battlefield Play4free)

However they seem to have reversed it since Day 1 release and may be worthwhile using it again. (Especially at a medium distance)

I already have next week's challenge options short-listed. Mostly aimed at the Recon and Support classes

I'm genuinely surprised myself at how much I'm enjoying using the LSAT. Definitely my next Mastery Dog Tag I reckon. Now that your challenge is complete Ger, stick a Stubby Grip on to reduce the bullet bloom and you'll be very effective at even long range.

Speaking of Challenges........it's my turn for the Loadout Challenge this weekend. So get planning lads, I want something good. In keeping with XtraFalcons good natured fun, I'm willing to accept a troll loadout. Nothing ludicrous mind, but I am open to suggestions.

I was so annoyed reviewing the footage to get these clips I didn't even put in transitions for most of them.

The first few are the 5 Kills on the tower and then the Sniper rifle ribbon and the last 3 are just clips I got while doing the other challenges.

Nothing spectacular.

I don't plan on touching the L96A1 ever again.

I made a very silly decision for the challenge to add DLC specific gadgets in one of the kits so I'm rewriting the first Attachment set:
New Choice 1: Ammo box and Ballistic shield(if available to you) IF NOT use the XM-25 SMK

Note for future challenges: If any gadget or attachment which is listed that you do not have - Let me know and I'll see if I can alter the challenge.
