Loadout Challenge

Player: Paul_booth_fan

Kit: All
Primary: QBU-88
Attachments: Any RDS or Optic, barrel and underbarrel attachments. |NO accessories.
Secondary: Compact 45 - Any attachments you wish

Grenade: RGO Impact
Gadgets: Any

Objectives:
Made in China: Obtain 50 headshots with the QBU-88 DMR 5/50
Giant Slayer: Win 20 rounds of Carrier Assault 10/20

People can add to that or modify - If you want to make it super difficult for Darren you can add certain attachments to the DMR

It may seem like a tame challenge but I consider getting 50 headshots with any weapon especially a DMR difficult.
+ You can do both the objectives at the same time

“Large Scale Battles”
- The best vehicle-focused Conquest Large maps
- 64 players
- Conquest Large

“Close Quarters”
- Smaller scale, infantry-focused maps and modes
- 20 players
- Team Deathmatch, Domination

“The Battlefield”
- Battlefield at its best; a good balance between infantry and vehicular gameplay
- 32 players
- Conquest Small, Obliteration, Rush

Guess they were just waiting for you to sign up Dermot. You're right though, it's taken way too long for this to be implemented. Glad it's finally here mind you, even if it did take an eternity. Nice to see it'll keep the riff raff out as well. Let them bleed, sweat and cry all over their own servers

Haven't unlocked the Flashlight yet so I stuck the Tactical Light on instead.

Seeing as I'm relatively new to all this I was wondering what was the cruelest/toughest challenge ever given to someone and who was the giver/receiver of said challenge.

I have a hunch Darren may have been involved, apologies if I'm wrong Darren

Oddly enough, we've been very civil....for now...:p. The main point of the challenge is to get players using guns or even a playstyle that they wouldn't normally go for. I'll usually spend a good half hour trawling through Battlelog looking at your stats; time spent as each class, guns used, Assignments etc. I try to pick something unconventional but not so far removed from how you'd normally play that it stops you enjoying the game. It's still supposed to be fun at the end of the day.
Worst challenge so far, at least in my opinion, was actually yours. Those Marksman Ribbons can be a nightmare, especially when the reward(FY-JS) is crap:mad:. So if you wanna put up a ridiculous loadout Ger then go ahead. I'll try entertain ya this week, think of it as a revenge:D.

Haha, yes it would. You pick any gun and attachments though and I'll destroy my SPM and K/D to get 100 kills with it

Jeez that gun is a struggle...the Tactical Light was even worse than I expected. Since you can't rely on hipfire with the DMRs, I had to ADS every single time. I'd set up in cover ready to ambush the enemy only for my ridiculous light to give me away:mad:. Had to complete that Assignment eventually so at least it's outta the way now.

How good is that emblem??? The Phantom Operative..........complete with a crossbow:D:D.......maybe the rumours of secret dlc/weapons are true.

A little more research and the rumours suggest you get a reward for completing all the Phantom Assignments; the Stryker Compound Bow. Final Stand possibly next Tuesday for Premium so I guess we don't have long to wait and see.

Just wanted to keep the posts seperate. I'm putting up a special Loadout Challenge for jaffusmax who won't be available over the weekend.

Loadout Challenge

Player: jaffusmax

Kit: Assault & Engineer
Primary: Any Assault Rifle/SR-2 PDW
Attachments: Any
Secondary: Unica 6
Grenade: M67 Frag
Gadgets: Defibs & 40mm Grenade Launcher/Any Engineer setup you want

Objectives: Big Splash(Activate the flood gates on Sunken Dragon), Not The Weakest Link(2 PDW Ribbons, Link 10 points in Chainlink), Recoil Kinetics(20 Headshots with the Unica 6), Open Fire(Kill with a pistol/40mm Grenade/Defib in a single round).

Nothing too outlandish for your first time up, and nothing too restricting as regards the loudout either. I'd probably go for 'Big Splash' first to get the Unica and then you can work on getting the Deagle. 'Weakest Link' will give you the MPX, a great weapon for the Engineer Class while 'Open Fire' will give you the L85A2. It's a fun little challenge in itself, just make sure you fully charge the defibs to get the kill:D. Have fun

If they ditched this whole Phantom thing and actually put up Premium servers with maps from all expansions Id be happier. 1 year later and all the maps are still separate from another but yet they persist with these "amazing" easter eggs etc. Dont get it really

They're currently testing server rotations on the CTE. All maps and modes will be available, divided up into several categories; large scale 64 man vehicular combat, smaller infantry based combat like TDM & DOM, and then classic 32 man mixed maps. Specifically aimed at Premium members.

I vouch to get the Mastery Dog Tag before the end of the challenge. I'm surprised at how much I'm enjoying the LSAT.
Actually, regarding my Loadout Challenge, I'm having a problem finding servers running Carrier Assault. With work and such, I'm often on at unusual times so that could be a factor. Earlier there was only 2 active servers with a combined 9 players :pac:

Yeah I was thinking of going back to it for a while. I'm trying, but still not loving the Magnum, there's just something about it that doesn't suit well with me(probably its rate of fire). Don't think I gave the Unica a fair chance first time round either. I was only really using it to get the Deagle so I probably hated every second with it :pac:

I found the magnum recoils to much and you loose your aim, glad I did that challenge as I would never have bother getting the DEAGLE before, now I can pop a few caps into Dermot with it as I always hear him giving out about them!
