At the very most, yesterdays stunt cost Mike Ashley £1000, I'm sure the guy is terrified of what is to follow.

I thought it was quite clear that this is not an attempt to hit him financially.

For once Spiers is talking sense:

Talk with any Newcastle fan and you can see why some Rangers fans don't want Ashley anywhere near the club.

If money was at least not part of it why did the guys from SoS Keep making the point about the cost to Ashley by disrupting the shops and also the cost of extra security.
I normally agree with the guys from SoS but just feel that this wasn't the right way.
I from what I have read about Ashley and our club certainly don't want him but I would also like some hard evidence not stuff that has been through four or five sources but straight from him.

Yeah but talk with any Newcastle fan and they'll tell you they should be in the Champions League. Delusions of grandeur and entitlement that you might sympathise with actually ;)

Can anyone answer a quick question for me?? I just seen Dave King on SSN and Twitter is going mad with "The Rangers" fans delighted he might be getting on board.

Why the massive outcry at convicted criminal Rafat Ritzi meeting with Sandy Easdale, some groups going as far as calling for him to resign??

Yet delight at convicted criminal Dave King being associated??

I can't get my head around the disgust at one "convicted criminal" and delight at another?!?

Your right about King but he paid a settlement to the tax people in SA. Also a lot of fans know that he put in 20m without a return when Murray was there. I have my doubts about him

I have no doubts about Ritzi though pretty sure he could be facing the death penalty if he goes home. The fact he is associated to Easdale means there's every chance he knows Greeen. There is supposed to be video evidence of Ritzi and Greenarguing and using Rangers for Laundering money is mentioned. I won't link where I got that not until I know more as this is new to me. So I certainly don't want them thanks

I'd have my doubts as to whether people who engage in that sort of behaviour are able to read.

You do realise it was fans of The Rangers and not Celtic don't you?

Given King's convictions surely he wouldn't pass a 'fit and proper person' test?

More chance of Rafat Ritzi passing it if the SFA use the innocent until proven guilty train of thought.

A man facing the death penalty in Indonesia or a guy who didn't pay tax. Well I suppose you could be right the SFA are not the brightest.

By the way it is a consortium King is putting up most obviously but who says he has to be chairman

Tax evasion is a slightly more serious affair than usual given the context....

He reached a settlement so as much as he wouldn't be seen as a saviour in my book he is a better choice than the Easdales fronting for Green and Ritzi

A settlement is an admittance of guilt and liability bbe.

I'm seeing some rangers fans painting it as some sort of compromise over guilt, it isn't.

They tax authorities settle to save on the costs of recovering what they are owed not because they feel he doesn't deserve to have to pay the full amount.

In short he shouldn't be allowed next or near a football club

Maybe so but many fans want him because of his past ties and as much as I am not keen I can see why when we have what is there

No maybe about it, he admitted to providing misleading and inaccurate information for financial gain and tried his level best to wiggle out of it.

Let there be no doubt about it, these actions are conscious decisions.it takes serious skill and knowledge to do what he did, it was no accident.

He only started co-operating with authorities after they had the good grace to present him with their legal case, he was facing jail time and was lucky to be allowed make a settlement.

He is the exact same type of character as ye have had before, on the lookout for a quick buck and **** the consequences.

He was willing to risk jail (in SA) for easy money, if he values money close to his own liberty it's very naive to think a football club will instill ethics in him.

As I said more than once he wouldn't be my choice but I can see where certain fans are coming from he has put a lot of money into Rangers before and never got a return. The simple thing is we know this lot are going through money for fun and running us into the ground for their own ends. And if certain allegations turn out to be true. It is going to result in serious bother for them. I certainly don't want them at the club

Don't let the fact get in the way of your story, it's the "The Rangers" way.

Rizvi is wanted for an alleged crime, the maximum punishment for it IS the death penalty, however seeing as most civilised countries believe in "innocent until proven guilty" so he has a clean slate compared to convicted criminal Dave King.

Rizvi is also wanted for fraud, so IF he was found guilty, he'd be a grand lad if he settled it going by your reasoning. It's laughable.

See if you could read properly you would see I have never said King is a grand lad in fact I have said more than once I am not keen on him so please stop with the nonsense

No a guy that is a Rangers fan and put money in whenurray was in charge and made it clear he wasn't looking for a return but hey ho you and the rest are good at seeing what you want in every post.

Thats the way he'll spin it and you all lap it up. Why didnt he buy the club for a £1 if he's no problem sinking money without returrn into his beloved Rangers?

Do you not see the obvious here? How many times have you now been burnt by "Rangers men"? Even Charles Green - he wasn't a bear but he played the right tune on his flute and you all marched along, even though we kept telling you/laughing at you. You wheeled out your usual "eh yer just obsessed!!" defence but in hindsight, were we wrong?

The groundhog day scenario at your club is all well and good, it's the fact you still try and play the victim every time you get shafted that's baffling.

Because his assets were frozen by the South African authorities following his massive tax evasion, that he was subsequently charged, found guilty and convicted of.

I honestly don't know why you bother BBE.

And there you go with your ridiculous assumptions that all bears are into the OO but never mind I suppose its just as bad as the the Rangers fans that think all tic fans are lovers of the RA.
I really made the mistake of thinking you were half sensible

And for the sake of some sanity among the nonsense
Rangers are 1 - 0 up against Raith Rovers McCulloch with a good header from a corner
