Just ate 4/5's a tub of Ben and Jerry's, also had a single bottle if malt lager.
Bring on the hang over, any excuse not to get up tomorrow. :pac:

My workshop is all out of materials and Argon so there's not a lot of welding happening.
    Well, there's precisely none.

    Bloody FAS.

The OH is driving me nuts when he has to drive the 156

He's in third gear at 20mph, this from a guy who traditionally overrevved to bejaysus

Any advice apart from banning him from driving the car?

The mammy used to do that to my Rx8. 4th gear, wondering why there's no power in the 'sports' car, compared to the diesel.

She downshifted to third for a slow roundabout, put her foot down because third gear doesn't do much of anything at 1500rpm, and discovered she'd gotten first instead when it swapped ends.

Now she doesn't drive it at all.

She still happily rattles the crank in the Megane, which doesn't seemed to mind.

I got a wave from a motorbike cop on the m7, inside lane was full, just me in the outside overtaking at 130ish. Seen the bike coming from a long way back with all lights going. There was nowhere to pull in so I floored it, I was doing over 180 when I finally found a gap to pull in.
Plod on his bike pissed passed me and gave me a wave as he did, which was kinda cool.

With the rims about $7000. Stick some alloys on though and maybe €7,500?

The rims that are on it are the expensive ones, so dont think they'll be changed. Currently up for €9k, don't know if it's a bit steep...

Got an unexpected days work today due to someone slipping a disk so didn't get a chance to take a picture of the new car :(

    Tomorrow!:)

Am I alone in thinking the Peugeot 508 is a fantastic looking car!?

With a different (and bigger) set of alloys on it, It'd be fast jumping to the top of the queue of my list of cars I'd like to try out next (and this is after I swore I'd never buy a Peugeot again).

Looks really well here in my opinion.

I presume the average Irish one has a myriad of blank buttons and a single din LCD (I notice none on DoneDeal have a leather interior).

    What? Why?

Because they haven't received my NC Letter/Licence/Proposal as I haven't sent them yet, mainly because I haven't gotten the NC Letter from AXA which I requested on the 23/9. It's an absolute fcuking joke. My dad is going to get onto AXA for the third time as I was previously insured through him, I'm going to call Aviva when they open and plead my case.

Any of you watch Fast N Loud? the spin off with Tom and Jordan started last night called Misfit Garage, they fix up a 1967 Chevelle. Good first episode, although that Thomas Weeks fella is annoying, to me he's trying to emulate Rawlings.

Thats strange, when your renewal comes up they have to send the NCB as well. Could it be a case of it being misplaced?

Yeah I would guess that Fast N Loud has a big following in these parts, myself included!
Is that a separate show, misfit garage? If so when + where is it on?

Yeah, spin off that's been talked about for a while, new business set up in the original Gas Monkey garage, all run by former Gas Monkey staff. It's on Monday nights(American time) on Discovery, so either record it/find it online. Most of the GMG staff featured in the first episode so there will probably be a lot of crossover between the shows.
