If that's since before school time and you have VHI then you'd have been better off in the Beacon or Blackrock.

Finally got home at 8. Took an age to get the sorted. Nothing more than concussion, cuts and bruises. I'll live.

    Hi All,

Could there be a genuine explanation as to why this car a 1.9 TDI Saloon Audi A6 does not correspond with the reg number on it 03L233 which says it is a 2.5 TDI AVANT (estate)Audi A6??

Depends on where you were speeding, the cops on the M8 are surprisingly tolerant of speeding if you make a token effort to slow down

It was a flat foot with a hair dryer, I know they are supposed to follow you, but he really couldn't have missed me :( I'd just overtaken 3 cars.

Ah that's the same sort of mob that I regularly flew past on the M8, I think if they have the hairdryer, they have to follow you and stop you :)

I always thought that too, but if they don't follow someone doing 20-30km over the limit, what are they waiting for? An attempt on the sound barrier:P

I actually like all of Bangles designs, current batch are a bit on the weak side.

The other places cost €120 rather than €100 but likely much shorter queues. Diagnostics and imaging extra so costly unless you have insurance. Hopefully the bruises will show up tomorrow.

A guy I worked with bought Cristianp Ronaldo's M6 at about 18 months. His teenage daughter was unfeasibly impressed - I recommended he have it steam cleaner as the guy had been in the paper that week ALLEGEDLY hiring 5 ladies of the night to his house for a party.

Yeah, on the M8, I'd regularly be doing over that and once I slowed down they seemed to let me be.

Haven't been on it a while though

Not as bad as overhaulin, where the voice over just basically says Chip Foose is a god over and over again.

I always wondered how it works on the likes of a motorway. We will say someone goes past them at 150kmh. Surly by the time they put the speed gun in the car get in start the engine and get going they have a serious amount of catching up to do and chances are they be in some boggo mondeo that's not going to have the quickest 0-60 time.

I'll never forget when I was in Switzerland the police over there and there cars are something else. Standard police car over there was a 335i and boy did they drive them on when they had too the sound out of them was something else. I also witnessed a high speed chase down tight back one way streets the police were driving a 170 tdi passat Afair. To this day I never seen anyone handle a passat like it. Absolutely flat out through the back streets and the way they were able to keep it perfectly on the road through really tight corner it was unbelievable.

The OH is driving me nuts when he has to drive the 156

He's in third gear at 20mph, this from a guy who traditionally overrevved to bejaysus

Any advice apart from banning him from driving the car?

Tell him it uses more petrol below 3500 revs.
Potentially believable if he looks at the obc

He is not listening to my instructions, I think banning is the way to go.
Maybe I'll bring him up to you and you can shout at him?
