    I mean it as no insult to anyone looking after the €€€€ but I'm now finally happy to just drive the way I want. I've cut back elsewhere but the sense of freedom restores my happiness. I don't drive nearly as much as I did do its not back to being a treat

    yes i downsizing carwise at this stage of my driving career but upsizing in the fun department- a healthy balance for myself im happy with:cool:

    Im off the drink as well which saves me a load of money :o

    Better than just plain steel wheels and theres nothing worse than just one plain steel wheel because the hubcap flew off one!!

    Sat in an Rx8 last week, with the seat lowest it could go, I'm hitting the roof. Didn't think they were this small inside. I guess I wouldn't be getting one for my next car...

    I am having some sort of middle life crisis lol. I really really want e30 or e34 with 2.5 lump inside.

    Perfectly I would like to get something cheap and drop it off in my buddies garage. Then have him do work on it when he is not busy, I would even come in on days off to play around and learn myself.. So all in all have a low budget long term project.
    If I "survive" until next year, I might do this as 2015 project.

    If it had a sunroof it seriously reduces the headroom in them.

    Id rather just the cable ties and one set of proper wheel covers. I don't mine the wheel covers that come on cars new like some of the ford, vw, skoda, opel ones aren't too bad. As they generally somewhat suit the car. But sticking a set of aldi or lidl generic wheel covers on a car. It makes me shiver ever time I see them on a car I feel like ripping them off. I would personally rather bare steel wheels than any of the wheel covers in that link maybe its just me though.

    I am now the owner of a 04 Accord estate :) Top of the range Executive version with all the toys :D
    Delighted with it, just need to get a EU maps CD for it.
    I'll try and get some pics up later on.
    I also got the car very close to bangernomics criteria ;)

    Nice one :) its great the trip wasn't wasted. my uncle has an accord 04 saloon and its a really nice car I've been it a few times. Well wear.

    Yeah I was really worried it wouldn't work out.
    The seller was a very nice man, gave me the NCT certs, 2 keys and 150e off of the asking price.
    I've got the CDT-I engine, seems to be very economical so far. Did Finglas to Loughrea today and the needle barely moved.

    Ha definitely not a muscle car. Was just taking off the hubcaps to check the wheel nuts and they got me thinking. I wouldn't have hubcaps on a car anyway generally.

    I was cleaning my car today and noticed something funny with the backbox on the exhaust. I thought it was muck or something. Nope. Rusted. Outer layer towards the back is gone with corrosion. That's on a car that's just over 3 years old. I'll be speaking to the dealer on Monday. :(

    "Irish" car. Reading Fiat Forum and some people are saying it's normal. There's an outer skin to protect the inner one. Still I find it a bit bad. :confused:

    Some people did it apparently. I was looking into getting a stainless steel exhaust from Souhans, but I'm sure my insurance company wouldn't be happy. :confused:
