Scroll and touch seem good and comparable to my old HTC M7, problem I have is if I'm trying to pinch and zoom or any time i have two fingers touching the screen, it just jumps around mad. Tried to zoom in slightly I'm maps and it jumped to an extreme zoom in of some place in Russia.

Yeah, I've this as well. It's common enough and OnePlus have acknowledged it so probably see a fix in the next OTA. A reboot of the phone temporarily fixes it for now.

Phone arrived Friday night. Absolutely love it. Very high end packaging and build quality. Beautiful screen. First thing though is the default DPI is too high. I rooted it and changed it to 320 and looks fantastic, loads of space.

I do have the slight yellow tinge at the bottom of the screen but have read it disappears with time. I use Google now launcher instead of trebuchet. Battery very impressive also even with the updates.

If the phone is rooted will you still receive ota updates?

Does changing DPI affect battery life does anyone know? Any other downsides?

Grabbed this case for €6, coming from Germany so hopefully will arrive soon after the phone, it'll do until I see something better:

    http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/FLIP-COVER-F-ONEPLUS-ONE-BLACK-CASE-SLIM-BACK-SHELL-HARD-MOBILE-PHONE-/281376868808?pt=UK_MobilePhones_MobilePhonesCasesPouches&hash=item41835e49c8

By the way, how long were people waiting after their order changed from "Awaiting Shipment" to "Processing" like mine did overnight? Ordered on Friday evening.
I have that case, it's not the best, cracks or chips on three of the four corners of the case and one corner of the front cover is starting to peel away. I can see myself having to get a new cover soon.

Saying that it was really cheap and delivery was really fast, but don't expect it too last too long.
This case is a piece of crap, even if it was well made the design is stupid, it has the magnetic wake on open function but designed in such a way that it will be going off at random in your pocket, avoid.

Much happier with this type of armband I got for a Euro which took 5 weeks to arrive:

    http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Gym-Running-Sports-Workout-Armband-Case-Cover-For-Samsung-Galaxy-Mega-6-3-i9200-/380984270666?pt=UK_Armbands&pb=14&maxbid=5.50&bolp=1&nma=true&si=3lfpv1yEFxzF%252Fjsu1ZC6QJV0d9o%253D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557

I prefer to go without a case day to day and an armband for the rough stuff like hiking and jogging anyway so this will do me for now, it's supposed to be for 6" phones but fits the OPO like a glove.

would still be interested in a decent cheap case if anyone finds one though.

Very tempted by OPO. It's obviously getting great praise from above who had the phone.

Just wondering would people suggest waiting on the Nexus 6 to be announced as it only around the corner?

How much will the Nexus 6 cost ?

That just it, I haven't a clue, but they are generally released around the same price range as the OPO aren't they?

Just wondering from people on here with more of a knowledge of all things phones than me, whether it's worth waiting a month or two to see what is released by Google, beige taking the plunge on this.

I was thinking of switching to a different screen protector. Anyone recommend gorilla glass or phantom glass for it?

I have a cover but I prefer the phone out of the cover. If I were to get one of the above mentioned screen protectors could I go with a cover or am I asking for trouble?

I've been using one of these since I got the phone. Not a mark on it so far. I'm not a fan of cases or covers, but I felt given the floating screen design it could use a bit of extra protection. I haven't dropped the phone in any serious way yet, so I can't tell you how robust it is without a case. I haven't seen anyone complaining about it being particularly weak thus far, so I guess it's safe enough.

I've it ordered. You get a hammer and start smashing away when you put it on the screen first time?!

Tested the built in wifi tethering in Cyanogenmod this evening on Three 4G in Bray, absolutely perfect, faster than my UPC connection so no need for PDAnet or other apps...

Use the "Send a parcel" service with Parcel Motel. http://www.parcelmotel.com/returns.html?gclid=CjwKEAjwqamhBRDeyKKuuYztxwQSJAA1luvGN26xIqBQftkdQ_beDSynqD675pG1eTEcW_3xb1eKPhoCPPDw_wcB

It's good to share the knowledge ;)

BTW, I had a quick look at the OPO chat on Reddit (linked to above) and there was a fair bit of bitching about their RMA service. I got the gist that everything is centralised and takes an age so although your device goes back initially to the UK it is then sent on by them to their (presumably Chinese) technical facility where it is repaired and returned but the facility is struggling with the volume of RMA requests so it's taking longer than expected to turn things around. You might be without the phone for a few weeks :(

Ya its sent to china alright. Usually they collect your phone off you in the UK using TNT and send it to their facility in china. You have to post it off with the Invoice, Lithium Battery Declaration and MSDS. Im guessing it will take around a month, hopefully not too much longer than that. Ah well at least that gives me time to get the flip cover and tempered glass this time around :P

I have a little issue with wifi, signal is great but when I move from one place to another sometimes I can't open the wifi option at all, it just crashes and the only way to open wifi or turn it on is to switch off and on the device.

I read in several websites that it's due to customised themes and that I should stick to the standard themes, would you know by experience if that's true? do you have any other solution to this issue? thanks

I had an issue with 2.4Ghz band WiFi which was conflicting with Bluetooth and is a known issue. If you have a dual band router try switching to the 5Ghz channel and see if the problem repeats. Alternatively, if you only have a single band broadband turn off bluetooth (if it's on or has been on since your last re-boot) re-boot the phone and without turning bluetooth back on see if the problem repeats.

I ad the exact same problem with mine. Not sure was it because of the custom theme, but I was using one. It was just a little annoying having to switch off/on wifi over again.

Good news for vodafone one plus one users, as you all know vodafone 4g is unavailable due to it being band 20, however vodafone have plans to roll out band 3 soon, no official date but this good news that one plus one will have 4g on vodafone soon.

Ordered one of these during the week. Is it recommended to get a tempered glass screen protector for these? Any brand recommended?

I'm coming from an S2 which has no protector but doesn't have any scratches after 3 years.

    Thanks

Rhino shield from evolutive labs is the best on the market.

Guys when I get a phonecall the phone will only ring once.

Look for "GSM hash tags" post earlier in the thread.

My contract with VF is up at the end of Oct. I'd like to stay with them but was planning to switch to Three to get 4G coverage. Any idea when the VF 4G band 3 will be available? How reliable is your info source?
