We bid for Shaw in January. We tried to sign Coentrao in the summer. Madrid got no back up for Marcello in January hence they would not let Coentrao go.

He has had two windows and has bought players in both. People harp on about how he never bought a CM. Newsflash, he did, in the first window. People on here would have you believe both windows were unmitigated disasters such is the level of impatience on here.

He didn't go for Ozil as he wanted to judge Kagawa when he joined the pre-season late on. We got the best signing in the notoriously difficult January window.

Both windows were not a runaway success but not a disaster where an incompetent Moyes could'nt or didn't try to pull off any deals.

No Fellaini, Rafael or Evans in the squad.

So it'll be Smalling or Jones right back, not ideal.

Hopefully be Carrick and Fletch in CM.

Raf - Vidic - One of LFC CBs - Whoever liverpool play at Leftback over Evra
Carrick - Gerrard
Mata - Kagawa - Rooney
Suarez - RvP/Sturridge on current form but we all know who is the better player in general.

EDIT: I've played 12 players here to add an extra oomph to the lineup
