ruud was announced similar time I think. Chico was during the season too. But yeah, I'd be surprised.

Interesting alright. I doubt it's Subotic although i'd be happy if it was him.

I'd like a few deals done before seasons end.

Agreed i doubt Dortmund would let it happen again after Gotze last year

I would be delighted, we cannot have a repeat of last summer, and news of a transfer now would be evidence that Woodward et al have been working behind the scenes for the summer ahead.

Personally I felt they desperately needed to have deals lined up for the start of the January transfer window, to address obvious problems at left back for example. But they didn't. So yes, the fear remains that we could enter the summer and weeks go by without any transfer action.

Signs that this isn't the case will be gratefully received.

Yeah that's fair enough, think we'd all like them to announce signings asap and not have a repeat of the Summer, I just don't think that's always feasible unfortunately. I'm certain they were working on lining up deals not only for January but year round.
