Put a dent in the card earlier and ordered this!

Should be here in about three weeks

Have had nothing but problems with the order first it wasn't available and then it was, then it was in the UK but they wouldn't prepare it for shipping till they were good and ready, then yesterday I get a call to say my frame can't be found and won't be found at this stage. Have been offered the rt58 with full 11 speed ultegra for no extra cost. Am told middle of next week but we'll see. They did offer me a refund to be fair but I don't want a refund I want a bike so I'm gonna ride out out for another little while and give them the chance to come good on it.

Frameset and Di2 Groupset, just need to get Bar, Stem, Saddle and Pedals and get it built up. (pic is representative only)

@Seweryn Where did you buy the DA grease? Heard it's good stuff.
Hi Tax Man. I bought it in the US. The tube is 100ml, but you can get it "locally" in Evans, Ribble or Chainreaction AFAIK in a 50ml jar. The grease is made in Germany.

Make sure the spec you bought is the same spec your leaving the shop with,
    Pot luck in athlone.
Mine supposed to be SRAM rival all round.
FSA chain set, PX brake calipers etc etc.
    So far so good though.
    Enjoy

Did you raise the issue and look for the rival parts to be fitted?

Agreed, but I dont have any green ones lying around and I am out tomorrow morning. I have a Carbon one that would look well, but the hong fu bottle cages liberally distribute bottles to the ditch on NCD roads!

Bottle cage does not need green. All black will do fine with perhaps a bit of white.

Fair enough. No red needed on that one though!

And so the retail therapy starts:

Now need the latest McNally Swords CC jersey to go with it. The orange prescription sunglasses will have to wait until the eyesight settles down a bit ....

back up race wheels turned up. Carbonzone 38mm tubs equipped with conti sprinter gatroskin tyres and tiagra cassette (cracking value, 11-25 10 spd cassette for 18 quid!! - all my training wheels will be getting these)

Anyway, the wheels seems nice. I obviously havent ridden them yet, will hopefully get out on them next week. Nice finish, run true. what more can I say. FR weighs 559g, rear weighs 759g.

That's a first opened fine in explorer but not chrome!

Look good lenny are they the 27mm wide ones with basalt brake surface?
I'll give you a month to see if you break them and I might try a pair I'm even tempted to go with tubs.

I have ventured into the world of aero road helmets. Kind of wanted an Air Attack, they've actually grown on me. But when it came to it ... they haven't grown on me that much!

not sure what width they are, but I guess about 19 or 20 mm - the tyres are 22 mm tyres.
