    We got a spit of sleet here for 10 mins around one o'clock. Left the cows out though, they were happy enough.

    Heavy shower of hail stones here in south Offaly around an hour ago.

    Was outside last nite between 3 and 4 tending to cows calving and 'twas a grand nite... But holy god has the weather changed.... It's fcuking lashing with an unbelievable storm driving it..

    What odds does it make aslong as your not flooded. I would take another month of this as trade off for a low rainfall late spring/summer/autumn. If you think your getting it bad spare a taught for lads in South Kerry. valentia has recorded rainfall from the start of December of nearly 700mm or 28inches. We are lucky they dont get the internet down there as if they saw the "have you your cows out thread" :D

    Calf feeding was just abandoned here this morning @ 8. You'd have been drier if you stood in the jet from a wash down hose for 10 mins than to go out in it.

    40 fed here in the pouring rain before 8 young lad put down one bucket and it blew away and it was full of milk. :eek:
