Someone posted that earlier alright, might have been yourself. Bringing sheep hope from the hill tomorrow, not promised good. Must buy myself some decent waterproofs before lambs start arriving.

Met Eireann ,I don't know why have a habit of relying solely on the Ecmwf (the European based computer predicting weather model) even though it is as useless as any of them at the moment because no computer can accurately predict subtle movements in Atlantic storms when the Atlantic is this disturbed.
A slight 100 mile shift north or south of a storm can only be seen within 48hrs meaning Sunday's farming forecast is already wrong so don't be relying on it.
That 100 mile shift has a huge effect on weather.

    As for a big freeze,lol.
Wintry showers, some lying hill snow,a bit of frost.Snow on low ground that drops a half centimeter that's gone in a couple of hours..that's a big freeze now? Lazy journalism.

Hail stones followed by a bit of snow here, where are the gloves?

If the seat's wet, sit on yer hat, a cool head is better than a wet ar5e.

Where are the gloves is right , worse again my working jackets are in the back of the jeep and they're all wet !

The little bit of green grass here that I was going to lash manure onto is shrinking into the ground again away from the cold .

Tomorrow using current models looks interesting :D. bring it on, its the time of the year for crap weather. since the 14 of December we have recorded 445mm or 18inches of water:eek:

No such thing as bad weather, bad clothing is your problem. Snowing here and the roads are lethal. I taught there was something wrong with the jeep earlier

Snowed on high ground last night but roads are clear today. Cold with further sleet falling, sun keeps showing it's face for 10 minutes and then disappears again.
