Normally i walk Nala (30kg) and Nelson (50kg) seperatly because I can't let Nelson off lead and he also can't go on as long a walk as Nala. Anyway I was running late this morning so took them together. Apart for some pulling by Nelson cos he wants to pee on everything first! they were walking nicely. Most people cross the road when they see us :( I had a good laugh when a guy walking his westie x was practically pulled onto the road trying to get to us while my two just ignored him and kept walking... so proud!

They all seem to love playing with newspaper. Ours go mad for it, especially if you poke something under it so it rustles and they can dive at it:D

Stayed in mam and dads last night so naturally my JRT, the little light of my life, came with me. She doesnt normally rise til about 11 (though she gets a peepee at 8 lol). Anyway, my Dad was driving me to the bus at 07:30 and she decided she wanted to tag along for the journey. She loves being in the front seat looking out the window but this morning I could see her fighting the sleep as the motion of the car got the better of her. She was like a child trying to stay awake because something exciting was happening. Eventually, she couldn't take it any more and nodded off. Little angel :)

Molly our foster kitten is a little ball of energy. She's like the ever ready bunny. She disembowled a stuffed toy on her dangly toy last night. I think her permanent teeth must be coming through as she wants to chew on everything. We got her a scratchy post yesterday and she's like a pole dancer on it:D

Watching her play with Jazzy is hillarious. She swings out of him and he's very good with her, mostly. When he's had enough he jumps over the pet gate to escape from her. You'd never know he'd been a feral kitten:)

Give her bottle caps (like, coke screw caps or whatnot) to play with! Kittens like to chew on them and they're also perfect for chasing around the floor.
My guys go nuts for them. Mostly, they store them under the couch.

Dude pooped in his litter tray, that doesn't make me just happy, it makes me over the moon! He went into it, had a scratch and squatted and nothing came out, so he turned around, squatted again and a little poop fell out! Never thought I would be so happy over poop!! I know it doesn't mean for sure that function is returning, but it is a step in the right direction!

I have been following this thread and that's great NEWS

I would be hopeful its just soreness and bruising that's been delaying everything that squat does take on a funny stance and must put pressure on tender areas maybe a bit of internal swelling putting pressure on nerves as well

I know when our guy was knocked down about 2 years ago he was peeing fine but didn't have a poop for 4 days

a little syringe of liquid paraffin got everything moving again

keep us posted hopefully its improvement by the hour from now on

he couldn't be in better hands

I discovered that Molly loves the smell of Simple exfoliating body wash. I went in to play with her after my shower and she was giving me loads of cuddles and sniffing my skin for ages. She likes the Aussie Miracle leave in conditioner too.

Poppy and Toby were giving me some serious looks while I cleaned out the litter tray. They looked appalled, I wonder if they wonder what our obsession with their toilet is all about.

Felix is sound asleep beside me making little noises in his sleep:)

Delighted! :D Strange how we get so excited over our pet's poops and pees :p

Silly Mango that's great news about Dude!

Last night my boyfriend emptied all the bins! He left our bedroom one on the living room floor and Pepper got into it and stood like a meerkat!

We don't normally have a closed door policy at home but the mother-in-law is visiting so things are a bit different.
Winston (16 month old EB) is used to sitting on the bath mat when I have a shower. Today he couldn't so he smashed in one of the panels of the bathroom door.
The landlady won't be happy, and my wife definitely isn't but I had a chuckle to myself. A bit the same as when my son got in trouble for fighting with a boy 2 years older than him, externally it's "Terrible teacher, I'll have a word with him", internally it's "Well done, my son".

I actually went  then laughed out loud reading that. The little brat :D

We brought our foster kitten down to the living room to show her the Christmas tree today. The look on her face, I bet she was thinking it's the biggest cat toy in the world. Anyway after sniffing under it and everywhere in the room she dived into the middle of the tree:D Needless to say she didn't want to go back to her room.

Of course it's the biggest cat toy! Be careful, you don't want it to turn into a national lampoons Christmas vacation moment :D

I brought Murph my 5 month old one-eyed kitten to my folks with me for a few days over Christmas because I didn't want to be without her on her first Christmas. She's very adaptable and settled in well even with the other 2 cats in the house. Stupidly I left a window open on Christmas night and she got out and disappeared. Spent St Stephens day and yesterday combing the neighbourhood for her, even in the storm. She turned up at 5 this morning, I happened to be awake and heard her mewing outside. Found her under my car, scooped her up and now she is content in her bed in a room where the window is most definitely closed. Delighted to have her back because she is quite timid and not very used to the outdoors, and the storm must have terrified her. Wish she could tell her story. :-)

Not exactly smile yet, but Mac had infected anal glands last week, vet expressed them and gave antibiotic & deflamatory injections and a course of steroids but it hasn't worked fully so today (before going to vet in the morning tomorrow) I finally managed my first dog bum squiz (after seeing three dogs suffering before and being helpless) and he was bouncing around for a while but he needs a professional touch before he's right :(

Our elderly dog (he's about 20) chased after a toy today and tried to tear it to shreds like a young pup. So lovely to watch

My boxer/collie cross bent over lifted her tail and passed wind in my face! Crude but true yet she does it to me often!

Lol, I read it not realising that I was on a pet thread and thought Jeeez what kind of monster baby could do such damage at 16 months? :D

The dogs were having tins of sardines in tomato sauce with their breakfast this morning and i forgot to rinse the tins... Ten minutes later my cat arrives in with lovely red cheeks after licking the tins!

Dude is being a right little goose this morning! He's stealing all out medical supplies that are left on top of his crate and hiding them around the sitting room. I know I should stop him but it's just hilarious :D

My boyfriends Dad is visiting from Ireland this week. He's sleepin on an air mattress in our living room. Pepper spends some of the night in our room and the rest snuggled up with him on the air mattress!! So cute and he loves her!

Molly the foster kitten is having a great time galloping around the living room, climbing everything in sight and swinging out of Jazzy. I can't believe how much energy she has. She's like a horse galloping around and eventually Jazzy has enough of her and sits at the door to get out.

The little kitten, Davy, is turning into a little thief! He got up on the mantelpiece and very stealthily picked a little robot-thing up in his mouth and then hopped off and ran away with it.
I woke up one morning to see him taking a pen out of the Glass of Change and Stuff in my room. Batted it around with his paw til he could get his mouth into the glass.
I keep finding my socks in the hall.
He has also made off with:
    - The cap from the shampoo.
    - A tea candle.
    - Several potato peelings.
    - The clicker for opening the gate to the apartment complex.

It's really funny but also weird. The older cat never did that (although, Swanson is very stupid and probably could never work out how to steal anything, ever)
Anyone else have a sticky-pawed cat?

[brace yourself, cat bugler jokes are coming]

My kitty Umi is a devil for it. She loves to rob my make up brushes and hide them on me :pac: I've also found her in my handbag a few times and when shes rumbled she grabs something from it and runs off. another favourite of hers is running off with my boyfriends pens when hes trying to do college work!:D

He(jack russell) farted while asleep and nearly fell off the couch with the fright. Scared the bejaysus out of himself.

I was really sick at the weekend and my little one refused to leave my side the whole time. My parents tried to take her off my bed and she was having none of it. She just wanted to sit beside me "cleaning" my face and staring down at me in confusion with her big brown eyes.
