when my dog makes a noisy (as opposed to silent!) fart, he will look at his bum as if to say "what was that"!!! (he's a bit dim)

Today was my first day back to work since 2013. I had a nice relaxing Christmas break and I woke up feeling down about getting back to day to day grind. While I was eating breakfast my King Charles jumped up onto my lap, nuzzled his head into my arms and looked up at me. I've been in a good mood all morning since :)

We keep Molly the foster kittens litter tray under the desk in her safe room/our home study. Anyways, I'm a bit viral today and as I was sitting on the floor cleaning out her litter tray, she jumped up on the chair and started nibbling my hair, ahh:)

Creams been very jealous because of dude being sick so while my mam was minding the small man I spent some time with cream. The kisses I got were unreal! He's always been super into giving head boops, especially if you say 'kissy kissy' but he stopped in the middle of the booping session to lick my face all over. Yucky but nice at the same time :P

After three years of pooping on the floor beside the litter tray, Lily just went in one of the trays! And she even covered it up! I have no idea if she realises what a momentous occasion this is but she looked pretty startled when I squealed and picked her up for squashy cuddles, whilst telling her how proud I was of her :pac:

Not so much smile but laugh and cringe :D Just finished the dinner, had to throw charlie outside because he kept humping his blanket beside the kitchen table in full view of me trying to eat :p

I was on the floor playing with Molly earlier and she climbed onto my chest and started nibbling my top. I thought she was being affectionate, she'd found a dab of salmon mayo that must've got on at lunch time:D She's found her voice now, so likes to shout her head off when she wants us to come and keep her company.

was gonna make my own thread but seen this one and fit the bill perfectly:) i got my dog a rubber piggie for christmas and she has it destroyed, she's a jack russell. She pulled the squeaker out and pulled off all the legs and tail and nose and anything sticking out really.

i feed her dry food but there is a meaty chunk in it thats quite soft and she loves these bits. i made up a game to keep her amused and i started putting a bit of food into the piggie and she'll try to get it out.

she throws it around for a bit and usually takes about 5-10 minutes to get it out. so this morning anyway i do the same thing and give her the piggie and she's all excited, she dropped piggie and ran off into her den (the utility room). She runs back into me and drops a similar bit of food at my feet and looks up as if to say "f you, i got my own food, i dont need to do your tricks!" she then picked up piggie and ran off. left me stumped. she doesn't normally have any food left in the morning so i didn't realise she had any in her bowl but this made me smile:)

Haven't seen her today, but yesterday, my Malamute kept giving out to me while she was waiting to be fed!
Myself and my mam were sitting in the sitting room and every time I started chatting back to my mam she kept butting in with her groans and grumbles. This will only seem funny if you're someone who knows the noises that the breed can make. She can be VERY vocal. Especially when its dinner time and I'm busy trying to talk!! So funny.

I've been robbed, cleaned out, by an old lady without shame, she gave me a great welcome when I came back in and now I know why.
My friend went out with his other dog and left his 14 year old labrador Popeye with me so she wouldn't be lonely. I popped out for 10 minutes and came back to devastation.
She knocked the water bucket, ate 2 chicken legs, a big chunk out of the butter, and a whole box of markies.
She had 2 partners in crime, Molly my labrador and Rex, the next door Jack Russel who was on a visit too.
Trudy is still looking guilty half and hour later .
I've known Popeye all her life and she often comes for a visit, so I suppose she plans on growing old disgracefully

I am so proud of moone she's being good to her new little sister! I brought them both on a run in the field this morning, I let moone off her lead but kept Alli on hers. Moone was busy failing to catch birds while Alli just wanted moone to play with her. Vogue the smallest cat Has discovered Alli is scared of her so is chasing her any chance she gets haha We're off to a fantastic start :)

I bought a big throw blanket yesterday. It's very soft and it's quite plushy on one side. I got it home and untied the various ribbons and cardboards holding the packing together and it unfurled onto the couch.
Swanson immediately got up from his spot, was all, "Don't worry people, I got this" launched himself onto the pile of blanket, burrowed into it and started purring himself to sleep.
I didn't have much of a choice, really, I had a nap under it too.

I just laughed. It's great to see her so active at her age. She stayed with me a couple of months ago when she had to have a lump removed. Keeping her cone of shame on was a whole adventure in it's self. Last week she dived into the river and came up with half a salmon. I think an otters leftovers. :D

My dog Bliz has been sick all week and today finally is back to himself! Did laps around the garden and finally ate all his dinner! It's the small things that make you smile :-)

Moone never shares anything - her bed/sofa/my bed, toys or food. Yet when Alli was scared of the Hoover and ran onto Moones bed beside her Moone didn't mind and cuddled into her :) their now sharing alli's own larger bed and eating their dental chews beside each other. I think moone has finally found her new best friend :)

Molly got to have a full explore of the house while Felix was asleep in the living room earlier on. She was very nervous at first but was soon galloping up and down the stairs and running around every room. She kept trying to jump on Poppy on our bed, as she does when she plays with Jazzy, but Poppy's not having any of it.

Jazzy had great fun chasing her around the house but Toby just pointed his butt at everything and sprayed the curtain, cupboard door, bin, and scratching post:(

Jamie is whining because I have him a chicken wing when his belly was full and so he doesn't want to eat it. He is currently engaged in "burying" it under the telly while looking over his shoulder to see if I'm watching where he is hiding it.

Molly was running around like a lunatic and Jazzy wasn't too thrilled about it, so he was giving her the odd swat on the head with his paw. Anyway he decided to go into her safe room and as soon as he'd gone in she pushed the pet gate shut behind him, sneaky madam:D

I'm in the house on my own with the dog so had him up in my room (where he's not really allowed) while I was typing up an essay and watching DVD. I thought I heard a noise so paused the DVD and went to check. I came back a couple of minutes later to find him up on my bed (where he's really not allowed), curled up around a stuffed toy with the DVD playing...
I can't help but laugh, but I hope if someone actually was robbing the house he'd be a bit more useful! :D

Molly's a bit bored being cooped up in her safe room, I want to give it a couple of days longer since she was only spayed on Wednesday before I let her run riot around the house. So I brought the laptop up and played some birdsong stuff on Youtube. She was searching all over the room looking for the birds:D

I find playing videos of either cats fighting or mother cats calling their kittens drives my guys wild, they run to the window to try and get a look at whoever is fighting :pac:

Hee, I think she's heard enough cat fights here already. Poppy regularly decides that Jazzy shouldn't be upstairs near her so she growls at him and chases him downstairs. Then yesterday she was in the middle of a fight between Felix and Toby. Felix is such a dirty fighter, he attacks Toby when he's asleep, little git. My husband said there was enough fur pulled out of Felix and Toby to make a new cat:eek:

I gave Toby a little bit of Metacam yesterday and today and I'm keeping an eye on him in case he develops an abcess. He's got the sweetest nature and they bully the bejesus out of him.

Umi has spent pretty much all day asleep on me. It seems the comfiest place to sleep is in front of my air ways or on my neck. I love lazy Saturdays :)

The pets aren't due their worm treatments till next month but I decided to do them all today incase I forget. I decided to give zerofen a go instead of frontal, Vogue ate hers in her food no problem. The dogs ate theirs no problem but when it came to Beau (my over weight cat) who had been annoying me for at least an hour for food, he wouldn't touch it because of the wormer! We'll just have to try again tomorrow, he's smarter than he looks ;)

For the first time since before he got sick, I got a famous Dude hug! This is where he puts a paw either side of your neck, presses his face as close as he can get it to your face, purrs like a tractor and kneads the hair at the back of your head. Cheered me right up :) he's now fallen asleep with his mouth against my cheek so I'm getting a very long kiss from him :D

Got up this morning at the usual half 5, came down, walked right by Kim (below) said "good morning puppins" as I usually do, she barley lifted her head and looked at my, plonked it back down and went asleep, as if she was saying "Feck off, it is Monday, why are you so happy?" :D
