Not when your broadband is limited;)

Res0gun is only 460.8MB :D all the other PSN games are between 1.5 and 4.5 gig, except for DC Universe.

Limits on UPC... 300 gigs min per month, so... Games are not that big.

Ps plus 50€ / year much better than buying physical copies!

got talking to the editor of the belfast telegraph about the scam xtravision is pulling. he did not know this is happening and after some reseach, he seems very interested in publishing an article on this as soon as possible, he emailed Xtravision and their parent company Hilco, he also contacted them on twitter asking for a press contact, he is hopeful he will get what he needs by monday and either get them to change what they are doing or expose them in the newspaper...hopefully all is sorted by thursday fingers crossed.

but im not stopping there, i emailed the consumer council and the trading standards people :D

Called to my local Xtravision, basically was told it was Microsoft's fault for the gouging on Xbox consoles and they hadn't any info on PS4's.The next sentence was an excuse that the margin is so tight on the consoles due to them being so much cheaper this time round that they have to "make people buy extra games".

BTW,just got a reply from The Last Word team on TodayFM,they are going to look into it Monday.

If margins are not good for them, just hand their batches to BT and we will keep buying in BT. I would flipping swear out loud if they forced me to buy something on top of a done deal ANC paid business. Bunch of bas**rds

Would it be better to preorder from GameStop online or at my local GameStop?

Oh and also, if I preorder online when do they take the money? Straight away or when they're going to send it?

Were you in the same shop as me? They must have been given a script to read to disgruntled customers,as soon as I mentioned PS4,I gathered by her reaction she knew what was coming next.

Yup,definitely sounds like the pre-made excuses came down the chain, btw was told there's no midnight opening,it's 10am same as usual & customers would be getting phonecalls during the week.

For someone not fussed at all about getting it on launch day but wouldn't mind getting it before Christmas, who'd be the best bet at the minute? Brown Thomas?

If BT are sold out,try Tesco & Argos - they are first come first served.

Which means their tactics will earn them a short term profit before Christmas but so many customers will take their business elsewhere in the long term. If it comes out that this wasn't a directive from Microsoft or Sony, they'll lose the games trade from a large number of regulars (myself included). Their reputation has been seriously damaged by this.
