    Hey folks, I have a question, well a request for advice really, wasn't sure if I should start a new thread or just post in here, since this is the SF discussion thread.

    Anyway: It's about doing combos after getting focus crumple on my opponent. I've often seen players do, for example, standing heavy kick into shoryu as ken after getting a focus crumple but whenever I use a normal on an opponent when they're crumpled I just get an air-reset like if I'd hit them out of the airborne frames of a backdash.

    So what am I doing wrong?

    If it's set to 15 frames, couldn't you kinda OS a safe meaty or something and keep using the same setups?

    Even given what we know so far, I was planning on using a new character and treating this like a completely new game, anyway. I'll probably scrub out and go back to Honda by week 2 but... well, that's the plan, anyway.

    Dash forward after the crumple, and then combo as usual. Otherwise it will reset as soon as you hit them.

    Mechanically, I'm assuming that it'll either be a counter stance or a command grab.

    It takes three players to begin to fill the void I left in the Irish FGC, and even then the requests for my opinions of the character roll in.

    This whole 'make defensive play more powerfull' has me worried. Downback is already Guys worst nightmare. Vs guy pick Ryu or any shoto really and hold down back, mash mk to stuff pretty much everything, run overhead, forward mp overhead, crossups, jumpins bar HK and elbow drop. Then just anti air and throw tech as you watch target combo whiff on your hitbox and smile as your 3 frame dp stops any attempt at wakeup pressure. Winner is you.

    I'll give it a gawk, but testing Ultras is pretty awkward when you're on an arcade cab playing against actual other people and each attempt costs 1 euro :P

    Also, re: proximity block OS, it apparently works with charge motions.

    I'd be interested to hear anything new for Rose and Juri.

    Not sure what to expect for Rose, Juri still has a host of issues like U2s funky-ass hitbox and dropouts on multihitters like EX divekick and EX pinwheel. All of those things have been unchanged since super though, so I'm not too optimistic for changes.

    Pity about yun nerfs but I agree with command grab range being too large lol
    I like a lot of the changes, although wish they would give Ibuki something to compensate for delayed wakeup and her nerfed kunai

    Man, Rose is sick. Damage buffs on her best normals, extended lp spiral range, reduced startup on loads of stuff..

    Mainly using Poison right now. She's totally different from SFxT. Her super is a double DP sort of like Dudly. Ultras are her SFxT fireball and a command grab. Grab does obscene damage.

    I've been taking a lot of notes and I'll write em up properly when I get home.

    Waitasecond. If Guile's U1 is now 5 frames that means I can hit confirm light punches into it? Surely not?

    Standing hard punch is 5 frames and that's pretty easy to do.

    Interested to see how good the autocorrect on it is too.

    Still the Japs have historically always missed loads about Guile in loctests, hope that's the case.

    Also Deejay looks rough...
