I think shes the head of revenue. Pat had het on last year. A very arrogant, threatening and condescending little prick

    From RTE SOR webpage
Vivienne Dempsey Property Tax Project Manager with Revenue is with me now and she was happy to answer any of your queries.

I think Pat had a Miss Feehily on who purported to be head of Revenue and was of the same....... .....

Ya know one of my favorite memories as a kid was eating sweets at the bonfire with my dad.

Seems to me the only place that's happening anymore is the rough areas

    We've lost something there.

I remember when Miss Feehily was on with Pat, everything she said in her own inimitable arrogant way would run efficiently and no problems would be encountered collecting the LPT.
Obviously with the calamity that has ensued Miss Feehily, Miss Dempsey was sent in to shore up the mess. Both could well be graduates of the Big Phil school of PR

Nice initiative, but do the farmers have fences for the livestock? They'll have to watch out for rustlers too.

You. have. got. to. be. kidding. me.

Terry Prone is promoting herself again on a show on RTÉ. Why has she not been banned? Is this the same Terry Prone, head of The Communications Clinic, which acted heinously regarding the suicide of its employee, 25-year-old Kate Fitzgerald?

Yes, it is. Ethical journalism would insist that this woman and everybody connected with that company be boycotted by any organisation using public funds. The poor, poor parents of Kate Fitzgerald to see that woman being paid for her appearance on taxpayer-funded media. No justice, none at all. David vs Goliath, and Goliath is broadcasting her victory on the national airwaves.

Is it also the same Terry Prone whose husband, Tom Savage, is Chairman of the RTÉ Authority? Yes, it is.

What a backward, immoral, incestuous hole is RTÉ.

Heinously? Its a bit much to insinuate, as you seem to do here, that her employer was in any way complicit for the suicide. Lots of people commit suicide, and do you really think their employers should be morally or legally held responsible?

Really, I am surprised boards has not deleted your post, and the links provided following the same legal advice which your link claims got the Irish Times to delete the same article, on legal advice.

You must have missed the Irish Times apology to... Terry Prone's Communications Clinic, not to the family of Kate Fitzgerald for calling Kate a liar. Perhaps you should familiarise yourself with the Kate Fitzgerald case before making assumptions, including her allegations of being bullied in the Communications Clinic? (and the case taken by a coworker who made similar bullying allegations some months before Kate took her own life). You could also 1) read that Broadsheet link properly where they published their story after legal advice and 2) look at the megathread on AfterHours where the owners of this site implicitly also refused to censor the story.

But congratulations on advocating censorship of this heinous deed. What's your connection with the Savage family?

It might be no harm either to look up the meaning of heinous hei·nous adjective
hateful; odious; abominable; totally reprehensible: a heinous offense.

Its not an assumption that the IT deleted the article you link us to on legal grounds.

Really, why bother stick your head into this? Anybody familiar with this story - and that clearly excludes you - is well aware of the ignominious actions of The Irish Times in this. However, Terry Prone, and not Kevin O'Sullivan, was on the Seán O'Rourke show this morning. That is why her actions and the actions of the Communications Clinic are relevant in this thread.

Boards is a forum where we are invited to discuss things. If you want to use this thread for what appears to be your personal vendetta, then that's your choice.

People who wish to respond to posts here are not "sticking their head into this". Boards was actually designed as a discussion forum, and if you think anyone who wants to discuss is sticking their head into this, then it appears you misunderstand the nature of boards.

Indeed, there was one still burning in Sean Moore Park this morning, made an awful mess: presume its the local authorities who have to clean up?

I have no comment to add on the Kate Fitzgerald issue as I know nothing about it.
What I find annoying is Ms Prone was on Newstalk with PK yesterday & today she turns up with Sean O'Rourke - what a tiny incestuous little island we are. Could we not have a little diversity of opinion - it's like listening to the same group of mutually admiring people waffling the same claptrap
    ad infinitum.

I prefer the Chris Hansen/To Catch a Predator approach. A camera crew and cops ready to leap from another room while the nonce is enticed into the house.

Nice to see that Marie Louise is working hard in The Seanad this morning. Well done to all those people who voted to retain it.

RTE bosses are going to love Tony O'Donoghue. He's just made half the listenership switch over to Newstalk.

There is something very wrong with Crumlin Hospital having to make public appeals for funding in the ad breaks.

Why is that wrong? I think its incumbent on any organisation to try to raise money to further its own ends, and don't see why anyone thinks that is wrong.

It's a public hospital. It should be adequately funded from the government.

It's a voluntary hospital. Subtly different
