Sorry to ruin our great new consensus there Nevin...but 'shrill' she is not. That's just a good auld sexist putting down of a woman. Sean O'Rourke was multiple times more shrill than her.
And she has too much gravitas...she needs to less serious. But I would imagine that will come as she relaxes a bit.

Have to agree (kind of) there Prionsias,she’s not shrill.... just monotone.

Sean O Rourke was not shrill.

She has not got too much gravitas, not at all, she is a bit tense ,will loosen up in time.

‘The Nev’ as he calls himself has good points but I felt today Sarah was very monotone, but as I always do,Francie ,I give people a bit time to bed in.

Which is precisely how she comes across. Intensely so imo.

I am just in love with her voice. If Mary Wilson announced that Putin had just set-off WW.III. I would yawn and change channel, whereas if Sarah announced it I wouldn't even bother looking for the iodine tablets, I'd just sit back and enjoy the last few minutes of the voice.
