Yeah I thought it was about fb too, not having a cheap go at someones mother.

She's not a hooker advertising herself at all. She's proud and that's what she does. Why hide it? We hid enough things in this country for long enough and fb isn't a place for hiding in shame :)

Apparently so . People seem to share anything on Facebook .

For all you know she could be a hooker . It's lame , attempting to put your self on a moral high ground .
Have you read the title of the thread.

Absolutely disgusting, every parent is entitled to mind their children full time if they so wish. In Germany it's frowned upon for mothers to work when they have children.

I presume you mean young children, that Germany doesn't wholesale push women out of the workforce once they produce offspring. That would be a touch retrograde.

I have the height of respect for anyone who is at home full time with kids, and honestly a bit of envy if they can afford it. I think the issue is one of semantics really as I resent the notion that I am some sort of 'part time mother' because I also have a full time job.

Anyways back on topic. Its a shocking page, from the vagueness of the title to the casual racism. Im surprised these people can operate a computer.

    What?

I can do this, I know I can.

When I was younger (two years old) my mother handed me a soup spoon, and what did I do with it? I hit (a/my/the) poodle and knocked him out because(?)........ERROR: UNABLE TO DETECT LANGUAGE........as I was laughing out loud whilst sitting in my chair.

Oh well, I tried so hard, and got so far, but in the end, it doesn't even matter. (:D:pac::pac:)

I'm thinking maybe 'kos' is like 'KO's' as in 'I KO'd last night'. KO being short for Knock Out which is what's happening in the story.

'1.0 to thuker' seems like 'One-nil to Thuker'. In this case Thuker is a person I guess.

So it all ultimately translates to (roughly) "...and knock him out - He KO's; 1-0 to Thuker!"

People are entitled to do it if they please but there is a correlation between those with "full time mammy x <3" as an occupation on Facebook and those whos boyfriend's are known by a name ending in "o" (eg, Anto, Deco), who is currently in prison for tipping people in wheelchairs off of a cliff but is actually a lovely guy and we just dont understand him. Possibly a threat of how she with commit some sort of crime against others who say otherwise on her facebook profile. Don't forget the language skills of a cat sleeping on the keyboard.

Being a full time mammy is a great thing. I would love to be a full time mammy when I have kids. But going by the girls on my friends list that have their occupation as "Full-time mammy <3", they have had several kids between the ages of 17 and 21, several daddy figures come and gone, never had a (legit) job and their statuses usually include the phrases "fkn muppets at the post office sayin me money isn't there I'll streeeel ourrov dum how am I supposed to feed me princess?", followed a few hours later by "whoop, gettin el lockdo with me girlos xxx" In contrast, I also have a few girl friends on FB that quit their jobs to be full time mammy's while their OH supports them but they don't have it as their occupation on FB cos that's just stupid :P

Id say 99% of the full time mammies i know are just spongers who dont want to work and would rather live off benefits.

And all of the ones I know are also annoying as hell.

I'm a full time mammy. Does everyone hate me :(

It is not my occupation on Facebook though!

    Me too!

That's why I'm extra-careful of my spelling and grammar - fear of reprisals! ;)

There's a difference between being a full time mother in real life and adding 'Full Time Mammy' as your job on Facebook. Obviously the latter is what people are talking about.

So people can create and star in their own cartoon...it's just a logical progression from the current bilge! I think O'Laughlin can relax.

On another point, any value in the resident translaters offering their expertise to the AGS/Dept of SP et al? It could save a huge amount of man hours!!

the problem is, I've hidden them from my newsfeed but they still pop up when someone I know comments on them.

Maybe but some of the posts have strayed into "anyone who is a stay at home mum is a scrounger territory" which is a bit silly.

Putting stay at home mammy as your occupation is a bit facetious and ridiculous but imo people who actually put where they work are sillier. There's so much obsession with privacy etc yet loads of people are happy to link their private and professional lives for all to see.

Where in Germany? Any Germans I know tell me the opposite, that being a stay at home mother is a lot more frowned upon there than here. Though they have state subsidised crèches there which helps a lot.

So painfully unfunny. Pre-scripted, pre-rendered cartoons starring you and your idiot friends
