I do, in Mayo though! Calved an AA heifer a couple months ago.

My eyes are on the BA/pbLM cross heifer that I have at home.
That & I'm toying with one of our CH heifers too for keeping. She's off PIO but she has fabulous confirmation. She actually looks like a ped CH. But the milk is what I'm thinking about.
My dad doesn't understand the milk ratingstar system so as I was away this year he was ringing me every time we had an AI to do.
V little blues put on this year according to AI man!

Home from the ploughing, spent feck all besides on food (by the way, angus beef is so far superior to limo beef it just isn't funny). Came away with three money making ideas, so happy out. Got seriously busy - walked on - from 10am onwards. If you've serious business to do there tomorrow, go first thing and get it done early.

Not yet, but it's part of my plans, minus the O.

I was very disappointed with the poor showing of number of breeds in the one paltry sheep tunnel. But, in the breeds that did come there was some mightily impressive sheep :)

Yea that's Albert de Cogans bull, saw him at Balmoral earlier this year and he was the biggest beast there by a mile.

I literally know nothing about sheep.
I know by their head colour and leg makings/gauge of bone size etc but that's it.

I'd say i could be given 15 sheep tomorrow and wouldn't find them by sunday. Our fences are for cattle!
Although today I seen one heifer who was mad to kill any of us, jumpover another and slip under the chute gate:eek:
Scared the bloody beyjasus out of me as I was cleaning out the area.
    I jumped about 7ft in 5 seconds:eek:

whoa, that will keep ya fit

I've learned how to dive through gates, plus over gates.
I can fit though all the wee gaps, most of the men need to use the actual exit areas!
Dep man was ready to walk into one pen today and of all things, the wickedest bull I've ever seen was in it.
Pulled him up and stopped his going in.
About 10 seconds later the bull tried to ram the gate as he could see us:eek:
storage area and all, he was with his own cows.

About 5 yrs. Seriously. The hours are immense.

My boss with the black eye doesn't look too hot either. I had him put ice on it at 6.30 this morn and he only kept it on for 5 mins.
I'll be giving him my Arnica tomorrow I think.

My boss is younger by three months and has a black eye now :D
My boss boss hasn't been seen as he's manning a stand with _________ in the ploughing! Other boss is usually not on my line.

    AND NO MAKE UP ALLOWED.
So, I've resorted to daily make up.
    Women eh :P
