Very scientific.....when teagasc were setting up the reseeding demo in Kilbeggan, the barrow they borrowed was putting out nearly twice as much on one side as the other.
So check the width of the holes on the whole length

I got one from the co-op for doing the very first reseed that we did years ago and even with is set at the 3 matches, it was still only putting out half an acre pack to the acre :D

Ended up putting the seed out with the spinner and have done so ever since too!

anyone see the headline in today's independent

"Central Bank sees nothing wrong with Anglo Tapes":eek::mad:

seriously what sort of a country do we live in,
now i have not read the article so maybe that explains it or clarifies matters

I wouldn't trust anything written in the Indo. They manipulate the news to suit the headline they want.

Will a hardware or a co-op split a roll of water piping? I need 10m of 3/4" water pipe. Would hate to have to buy the whole roll for such a small amount!

Did you really think there was much in the tapes that wasnt already known. Most of this was known as it happened by those in the know

I will give you 10m for free if you want to call down. Probably cheaper than a whole roll. They should split it

They will split, but the price per meter becomes ridiculous.
Had the same situation few months back. Ended up buying the roll, as in farming you will always need it again.

Might be lucky though, and find they have an end of a roll they might flog off at reasonable money

buy a full roll, take off what you need and chop the rest into 4ft lengths and go to the ploughing selling them as more robust stick than the fibre glass ones, seems every second man was there selling sticks. who actually buys them

My local hardware shop will cut you a length as long as you want but charge you handsomely for it (roughly 50% extra)

    :D

I'd say the powers that be would love to get convictions but talking to people with an idea of law seemingly (and amazingly) there was nothing much to base a conviction on in those tapes. I'm no different to everyone else and would love to see accountability, but surely the most guilty of them all is the teflon ex-taoiseach?

Now the indo - I don't even want to go there!

Now the **** want to get rid of the Seanad. Seanad, costs a few bob, but thankfully is as harmless as it is powerless.
Better plan would be get rid of the Dail and the Co Councils.
Between them, they cost an absolute fortune, and do endless damage, with their stupid legislation and beurocracy.
I'm in favour of Trapatonni and Tardelli, running the place. They are unemployed, and Denis O Brien, would foot the bill.
Couldn't be any worse than the clowns we have driving the bus.

In fact the whole system is wrong. As soon as a politician is elected he has to do populist things in order to have a job in 5 years time!
