If I was a betting man I'd wager you wouldn't have to map the brain to the smallest physical scale to make another Ciderman or o1s1n, maybe the molecular scale would do. 'Just' recreate the exact same neurological connections in your brain and you'd be sorted. Not sure we'll find out in our life time though.

Actually it's deeper than that from what I've read, it's not the observation changing a system that's the issue (yes bouncing a photon off an electron affects it) - the uncertainty of a quantum system is a fundamental property of it (due to it's wave-like nature?). It's in several/many states before we go 'looking' from my limited understanding.

Ghostchant probably correct me on that.
