Picked up crash bandicoot 3 boxed on wednesday. Turns out theres a crash 2 disk as well as the 3 one in the box. Which was nice...:)

Just picked this up, CPS2 boards are absolute monsters.
Now to test, clean & phoenix it.
Looking into maybe converting it to a Ghouls N Ghosts if possible

Ghouls n Ghosts is a CPS1 board, so no luck doing that unfortunately.

Has it been tested before buying it? Looking at the condition I wouldn't imagine the battery has been changed, so it may boot up to a dead board.

Good luck with it anyway. CPS2 games are bloody huge but they're some of the best!

After you get a few of those boards storage really starts to become an issue if you want them within easy reach for swapping out. I ended up moving all but a few of them into a storage locker. They are just massive when stored in boxes.

Wow, nice

I would change the battery, 5 minute job and you have about half an hour to do it before the board dies .
You can always Phoenix or Covert it later .

Can you use any CPS2 board to convert to Progear or only some games ?

Not many gaming gets recently but got a few bits in this week.

PCB holder and that Bandbridge RGB Scart switcher linked previously by Steve_SI & Kerbdog - pretty decent device actually, the headphone jack is handy on it too. The pcb holder seems handy but will need to cut/saw about an inch off the top of it to fit it into the cab.



Hadn't bought a game in ages so couldn't resist when Safetyboy (top bloke) decided to let this go, ESP Ra.De. by Cave. The board is in great condition and goes without saying the game itself is a stunner.

By the way, be careful when loosening the bolt on that PCB holder. It's on a spring. Too loose and it flies apart. Not fun if it happens when it's inside the cab :pac: Very handy yolks though.

Cheers. Yeah I took the holder apart to see how the thing worked and noticed the springs alright. Hopefully I can cut the top off without wrecking the rest of it. :pac:

It pays to check in on Jamma+ every now and again.
Logged in yesterday, to see if Atavan had ****ed off there, when I saw a user there selling more PS3 and Vita stuff for feck all.
It's typically promo copies of the full games, I picked up Uncharted 3 and Sly Racoon for the ps3 and LPB for the Vita back in July.
This time he was selling a good few bits, including LoU and GoW Ascension for a fiver each.
Unfortunately they were gone but I did order a copy of The Puppeteer for the ps3.
Only €11 with postage to Ire, not bad at all and am interesting game to boot.
