He also dropped a few truth bombs. 145 is a scary, scary division and McGregor hasn't even scratched the top 10, yet hes mouthing off about guys who have battled in that stacked division constantly and are still top 10. I know its his 'shtick' but at least earn the right to give abuse first.

McGregor is calling out the wrong dude. As i've already said, Lentz will wrestlef*ck Connor! He's not even calling out a guy who would stand up with him, there's no way Lentz does anything other than lay on top of McGregor!

I picked Lentz as an opponent for Conor a few weeks ago. I realise there is a danger of Lentz wrestling Conor for three rounds but I think if Conor can stay on the outside and avoid as many takedowns as possible, it's a very winnable fight, and a great scalp to take.
Lentz is top ten and a win would catapult McGregor up the rankings.

Paddy Holohan is a great great striker yet that really nice guy lay on top of him for 3 rounds and got into TUF. (I have never been so mad at a fight in my life... I had to relax and calm down after that and I dont usually get wound up as a spectator!)

After just watching it I have no idea why Holohan clinched with him after hitting him with a knee at the start of round 2, he quickly got reversed and taken down. You have to earn the right to utilize your better striking.

Yeah it's great to know he has the best possible opportunity to rehab himself back to 100%. He's in great hands.

Has he not called out everyone in the division?? Also I really dunno if its fair to say he will be 'wrestle*cked'. I agree Lentz wrestling is a huge threat but I feel McGregor definitely had the ability to stop it. You're not gonna succeed in the UFC unless you fight wrestlers.

Also not sure who heard Jordan Breen on Andrew McGahons show but a tough loss to Lentz could be of great benefit to mcgregors career. (Paraphrasing majorly here)

Are you incapable of rational thought when it comes to McGregor? Seriously a McGregor vs Lentz match up would be one of the last fights Dana white or McGregor would really want.

Just because one guy has wrestling credentials to beat the band doesn't mean he's automatically going to steamroller anyone. I'm not blinkered when it comes to Conor. Clearly this guy has years of experience in wrestling when it comes to Conor...but that doesn't necessarily automatically mean that it's cut and dry. That assumption, when it comes to ANY fighters, just annoys the **** out of me and is ridiculous.

It's an assumption based on facts at hand. Nothing is ever cut and dry in MMA but facts remain Nik Lentz is a bad match up for McGregor, plain and simple. Out of curiosity who out of the 145 division do you feel is a bad match up for McGregor?
