We know brandao is a very dangerous striker but fights with too much emotion and over extends.i would expect the fight to go similar to the brimage fight tbh.
He's a dangerous striker but his advantage here is in grappling.
If and when this fight happens Diego should look to make this a BJJ match.

That said, wound up, hot headed, emotionally invested Brazilians aren't always going to make smart choices.

I have been watching mma from before the bravo days on Sundays .........

Erm.... congratulations? I'm not doubting Conor's talent.

The point I was making is, saying Conor will be "fed" Diego Brandao is basically saying he'll run through him. Perhaps he will, but perhaps Diego will run through Conor. Perhaps it will be a close fight. Brandao is dangerous on the feet, dangerous on the ground, dangerous anywhere.

He might gas easily, but sometimes it only takes 8 seconds to win a fight! Conor is by no means sufficient levels above Diego to treat this fight as a gimme!

that is your opinion dude leave it at that.

The reason I stated that I have been watching it for longer than a casual fan was to show my comment was from an educated perspective and to show I was not jumping on the alleged bandwagon there is for conor on this thread.
you taking part of my previous statement adding full stops ,commenting on it and making reference to it before you make a comment on top of that, straight after makes you a bit of an asp tbh stuffins.

And what is your point 'congratulations' meant to spark besides an argument and fuel for what Mellor nullified previously in his comment? ?

    Well done.

    No need for name calling.

The fact that you started watching MMA 20 t years ago or 20 days ago makes no difference.

Yes, it's my opinion, but that doesn't mean it's not open to scrutiny. Nor is yours.

Some people are of the opinion dinosaurs and humans coexisted. Some opinions are more right than others.

My opinion is that if Conor fought Brandao, it would be much more than McGregor being "Fed" another opponent that's all.

Ridiculous how giving your opinion makes people get ratty on here. Stuffins is entitled to give his opinion, and tbh its not a very controversial one. The main point is, its not as easy a fight as people think. Especially, after a lay off. Not on here too long but I have noticed that if people have a different opinion they just act petty and think your wrong.

    Differentiate opinion and fact.

In fairness, MrStuffins' opinion is wrong

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 33 pbee

So the opinion that Brandao is not to be underestimated is wrong?

:):):) yeah Mcgregor should be complacent. And more and more complacent each time he steps up in class.

Why oh why, did I bother.

And standing beside a very in-shape but still quite petite woman, when you've been spending about all of your time in the limelight around guys 30-60+ heavier than you, adds a couple more...

Throw Dana in behind them and it puts it all back in perspective.

You'd hardly know GSP was 2 weight classes above in that pic.
